# Description

Currently, in-game, EBR (1963) weighs 13.5t:

 

This is incorrect. According to recently uncovered documentation, EBR (1963) was actually lighter than EBR (1951), which is 12.5t, in-game and irl:

 

The documentation we have discovered shows that even though the new 90mm was very slightly heavier than the 75mm SA49, the ammo was far lighter. Combined with a lower ammo count, this provided a decent weight savings of 140kg:

 

Although the new gun raised the weight by 6kg, we can see going from 56x9kg 75mm rds (454kg) to 44x7kg 90mm rds (308kg) saved 146kg.

 

 

And, just to be clear, this is the same exact ammo that AML-90 uses:

 

To back-up the weight savings, another page states the amelioration of the turret saved "around 150kg":

 

With these in mind, EBR63 should weigh at least 140kg less than EBR51. As EBR51 was 12.5t irl/in-game, that would make the corrected weight about 12.36t.

 

In conclusion, the weight of EBR (1963) should be corrected from 13.5t to 12.36t .
