Air AB points distribution changed?

I don't recall seeing this anywhere in the update logs but I just played a match where I made 8 kills with zero losses and I only had 400 points? Not only that but I was bottom of the table with a guy having two assists, 1 kill and 2 deaths above me?

 

This seems rather odd. Has something changed in the scoring of certain match types?

1. You killed real players and not the AI attackers?
2. Those players have flown a plane that was way lower in BR then your plane (diminishing rewards)

I too think something changed... I just played a game (Domination - Kuban) where I got 6 kills (all real players) and no deaths for 798 points.  This put me in 15th place for my team.

 

I was using BV-155... Must be the effect of number 2 (above).

Under our glorious new economy unless you are at lower end of the BR spread and flying in the furball/ground pounding/being shot down many times in  a match, you will have to get at least 10 air kills to score halfway decently...Flying cover for bombers or mass killing bombers up high away from the furball will do you very little good other than personal satisfaction...gaijin is trying to force a particular style of play on everyone by doing this...You will either have to start flying and dying the way they are trying to force you to or fly the way you want and accept the fact you may not appear at the top of the results...

I don't see that you have flown bombers very often, because good bombing was the way for top scores before and still is.

 

Your problem will be, that you don't eat the planes at a similar BR as yours up there but usually newer players with uneven setups and very low BR planes for the battle.

I have flown out my Whirlwind for dailies in the past and it is not like an I-15 or PBY, or a Mig 3-15 will require the biggest effort with a 4.3 plane to beat them...

Even less when they try to head on the guy with the death symbol next to his name because he is marked in a special way, with worse and worse planes. If that is your personal satisfaction it is up to you, I for my part have written to the chat, that they should just stop in the past.

I personally love this new economy. Where else can I be punished by up to 90% for Gaijins control of Matchmaking? Do I get rewarded for for killing that +1 BR plane that is on the other side? No? And why not? I'm with HochgeborenKlown. Don't play the Gaijin way, play for yourself first and forget the rest.
