sungorilla 1 Report post Posted September 16, 2022 Am I crazy or have they changed the proxy fuse round for the WZ305? It seems to spark (exploding and doing nothing) like never before...
Kirtha 593 Report post Posted October 19, 2022 (edited) Yes it was heavily ninja-nerfed, shells are exploding without doing any damage at all. Edited October 19, 2022 by Kirtha

Zephoid 1,583 Report post Posted October 20, 2022 Almost all prox shells were nerfed 2 patches ago. They used to have 15m fuses and blast radiuses to match, now most are 4-6m.

As Zephoid above has mentioned, they changed how proxy shells function and the "damage model" of the detonate if I recall correctly. I cannot for the life of me find the exact change log and i'm just going by my terrible memory of it. It's frustrating when it happens, especially when they are in a beeline towards you and it costs you a kill but its just something I guess we have to get used to now. On a semi related note, If memory serves they attributed part of the update to the ability of shooting down ATGMS with them, something that I have never been able to accomplish since this change. Primary example is ATGMS from heli's in a straight path towards me, and a constant barrage of 57mm rounds exploding on, in front or near it just do absolutely nothing. Then I die. I'm wouldn't be surprised if this is a skill issue on my part or it was never an intended feature. I'd like some clarification on that.
