What is the hardest thing for CAS pilots?

I think that the hardest thing is deciding on if you should make another run or go now and possibly miss and crash or if you should push the SPAA or not.

From personal experience: i could say that making use of Armor piercing rockets without Ballistic computer is very difficult sometimes, and especially in early planes that can carry a small amount of them, such as the IL-2's and Su-6's for example. Having around 4 or 6 of them and having only 2-3 shots to eliminate a tank. As in the early BR's High explosive rockets are useless against armored tanks, because the explosion isn't big enough to overpressure the tank (SPAA and open top tanks it will).

Secondly i could say that deciding to go after the SPAA player can be difficult, as from a distance you can't be sure if it knows your going for him or not. It's sometimes a 50/50 chance that he was already aiming at you, or he was busy doing his own thing.

And lastly i could say that bombing moving targets can also be difficult, if your bomb isn't big enough: The enemy can simply just stop driving and you will throw the bomb in front of him, sometimes you destroy its tracks and barrel. But most of the times you don't damage it at all.

those are the things i consider difficult when doing CAS, for me personally air combat isn't much of a issue in most strike/bomber aircrafts that i use in the mixed battles.

Hope this is helpful
