Lower RP with higher Scores and Points

Hello fellow tankers!

A friend of mine and me started playing this game together a few months ago. Since then im complaining about the fact I have good rounds and don't get that many Research-Points(RP) after the battle ends. 
My friend couldn't figure out what I was talking about, because he always got many RP with mediocre rounds.

 

So yesterday we compared our RP after a round(Screenshots), where the difference couldnt be higher between our skill in this round and so we did for every single match we played yesterday.

 

In advance:
-we used the same vehicles

-we both have premium playtime

-I was playing much the few weeks and he played nearly to nothing (maybe less playtime gets rewarded when coming back?)

-noone used a RP-Booster

 

My earned RP ( 1 in the pic ) are less than my friends are, even though I made more points ( 2 in the pic ) during the round(nearly 6 times the amount he earned!!!) as he did.

Our round-activity in this round was on his side ~84% and for me ~92% so there I was higher then he was too.
I have already the talisman for both of the tanks we played, he does not have them (  4  in the screenshot) (maybe you gain extra RP for the talisman while researching it?)

My question as this is not a once-in-a-while-case but always every round like this:
Why am I earning same or LESS as my friend, even though I make more kills, more caps, more activity, longer time active in the battle and everything.
I feel like the game punishes me for being good at it and is rewarding my friend for it. 
Do I miss something or is this a bug?

 

PLS HELP!

PS:  If its because of the difference of the tiers of vehicles played/researched, what are the percentages of it and why did it happen for us the same way while playing the same vehicles and researching the same stuff on the same tier?

Can't comment on all details, but yes, those RP he got for the Mark of Distiction are part of the total RP you receive, and since you already got those Marks, they go to waste for you. So there's a major reason for the different amount of total RP, while you get about 50% more vehicle RP than your mate.

I research the T-34-85 (D-5T) and my mate researches the BTR-ZD.

But in the Wiki it says:
"High ranking premium vehicles are excluded in that (the rank difference penalties) they do not have any research penalty when used to research low-ranked vehicles."

And why is it in this case, that we get nearly the same RP even though I made so much more?
