Wagers and Orders - Who should use them and how?

I'm still a "bad player" although Thunderskills now sees it differently

I've collected the wagers and orders since 2016, so never used them.
 
Constraint: I'm a Ground Forces AB and Coastal Navy AB player, up to rank IV. I like flying planes in the Coastal Navy, but I don't have a well-developed air force.

Wagers

Who should use them and how?
Which ones even make sense for whom?
a. Still bad players ( me )?
b. The good players?
 
Focus on GoldenWagers, I still own a few.
How do you really win GoldenEagles easily and safely with this?
 
At what point in the game should (which) wagers be activated?
So at the start of the game, more after 2 minutes, more after 4-5 minutes?
Who has already "lost" some wagers, i.e. activated them and nothing came of it? What was it, what would you do differently next time?
 
With which services do you have experience with wagers?
1. Ground Forces
2. Air Force
3. Navy
Hardly anyone plays Navy, so where are the different challenges between Ground Forces and Navy?
In which tasks (domination...) can one forget the wagers, because the quality of the game is too high and bad players don't have it anyway?
 
A general piece of advice is of course
1. Vehicles
1.1 with fully upgraded vehicles So don't use games with wagers to modify vehicles.
 
1.2. with vehicles at the bottom of the required rank.
Therefore, please prioritize rank III presets, or vehicles with a BR in the rank III environment and rank IV vehicles with a very low BR. You don't want to make it too difficult for yourself!
Which vehicles of which nations from rank III and low-BR rank IV should be avoided?
Of course, it depends on your own taste in the game whether you prefer snipers with assault guns or - like me - turret tanks.
 
1.3 with an optimal vehicle preset for the respective nation What is optimal for you (with 5 crew slots)?
Medium battle tank (Panzer IV,..), of course.
But light fast vehicles to capture?
Does a HeavyTank have to be there?
Always ne SPAA here to create the necessary kills?
Show off your nation presets!
 
1.4 preferred with the optimal vehicle presets of certain nations. Which nation presets for which tasks?
Keyword "Russian Bias", i.e. use an optimal Russian preset for wagers, for example?!

2. To work with the best trained crews / crew slots.
 
3. to play at times when success is more easily possible.
So in my experience, if you have "daytime free time", according to German time ( UTC+1, UTC+2 ) in the morning and in the morning, never after 4 p.m. in the evening.
 
4. Plan enough time if you really should and can play a lot of games in a row at GoldenWagers
 
5. To play in a squad, preferably with Squadron (Battle Groups) members, with audio communication (Discord, Skype,..)
In the "Best Squad" wagers, of course!
But even then, the team must be willing to play at the (low) Rank III / Low-BR Rank IV level for a longer period of time. That is also not a matter of course. And the team communication has to work, it doesn't work well between true strangers who happen to be in the same squadron either.
But otherwise with the other wagers? I didn't quite understand why, unless you REALLY support each other as a team, i.e. the non-wager colleague works as a "water carrier" like in professional cycling races.
Unfortunately, I can't really keep up with that, because my German-speaking French squadron colleague (the famous "French Quick Capturer" ) has disappeared from the game, and my squadron is more likely to play BR10....

Who has already "squandered" which orders, i.e. placed them and nothing came of it? What was it, what would you do differently next time?

Orders are obviously not tied to a rank.
Assuming, as with the wagers argument, that it is usually easier to play at lower ranks, but it doesn't have to be rank I, which presets for which ranks in which nations would you recommend?
So again "Russian Bias", the lowest Russian preset with T34 is awesome for that? Or what else?
 
Of course, it makes sense to play at times when success is easier to achieve.

Daily Tasks

Mentioned for completeness.

You can try to fulfill them, or leave them out.

You don't lose anything. And every day there are new daily tasks.

 

As for wagers, you should play with an optimal preset, so the general betting advice also applies.

The daily tasks are easier than most of the the orders, which in my opinion are often impossible.

Note the minimum rank (sometimes rank II, sometimes rank III).

Daily tasks you need to complete just advance in the battle pass nonsense and warbond shop, you need to complete both just to buy a special task regular.

 

Far as wagers and orders go, from my experience they are hit or miss and the RNG plays heavily into it. You can be on a good positive roll, use a wager and your game will go in the crapper immediately. Game isn't designed to advance you easily without busting out the credit card, I see the wagers and orders as the bright shiny things used to distract people from that little fact.
