coolkassill 1 Report post Posted November 27, 2022 Hello all! So with the black Friday sales I was lured into a game that's sat uninstalled in my library for quite some time. I've had an itch for sometime to play something akin to this. I have played in the past many other similar titles ranging from grindy arcade style games to "sim"-lights. WT seems to nestle somewhere in the middle from my brief experience thus far. About me, I'm a 30 year old guy from the US with a passion for history (I have a minor in Military History) and gaming. I enjoy everything from shooters, rts, mmo's, moba's, and everything in between. I work as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk at a hospital during the week and have recently started a working out/training journey, so my free time in the week is usually only an hour or two before bed. Anyways, if you've made it this far, thanks! I'll be lurking the board to try and absorb as much information as I can while I try and figure this game out.

BCFN 68 Report post Posted November 28, 2022 To the OP: welcome! As tbhoop said, the whole point is to have fun. Luckily, there are a bunch of different game modes, and a wide variety of vehicles (with very different play styles) in the various countries' tech trees. Some friendly advice: take it slow. Don't go hell for leather for a famous vehicle (looking at you, Tiger 1). Take your time, learn the different vehicles & how best to play them (by playing them, playing alongside team mates who're driving them, and by fighting against them), learn the quirks of the maps, and build up your skills. Lower tiers in particular are a ton of fun; try them out on all nation's lineups, and by the time you're getting into the mid tier vehicles, you'll have a decent amount of experience, which will lessen frustration as the grind gets tougher.
