thegopnikfish 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2022 I've been having this problem since at least the Danger Zone update, but every 3rd match I play, regardless of mode, will load into a black screen. The game hasn't frozen, or broken my computer, but it's just a black screen; i can spawn into battle and interact with my vehicles. It just happened again 15 minutes ago when I tried playing a 3rd Air RB match. It makes grinding impossible, because I always come back into the game after it's gone long enough for me to not be able to do anything useful. I play on a 2021 M1 Mac Air, specs will be below. There's a guy that describes how you can delete some cache files and lock the folder to read only. That has solved my problems and I haven't gotten a black screen ever since! This also fixed the black screen issue for me. I can play multiple rounds without having to restart between each. The downside is that custom skins don't show / nor do item icons. That said. I do still get the occasional 'disco glitch' when flying in maps that are dusk or at night (the screen flashes bright colours etc)...but I think that is a separate issue.
