BR balancing

100KPH or 1000KPH?   What you're dealing with is compression, fewer planes and players are available at higher BR so planes are ranked together that shouldn't be.  My beef is hyperprops mixing with post war Jets.  it didn't work in Korea and doesn't work in the game.   My only solution would be more planes (or like the S.199 you can spawn one plane three times) and lower costs for jets, at the high end it's like buyng three Call of Duty games.

Play the 7.7 Ki-84 against the 8.7 MiG-21 and the KPH difference is over 1000

I see that....yeah, 7.7 only because of 30mm cannon is silly.

No, it is 7.7 because some trolls who know how to use it flew it out to make fun about the BR calculation system Gaijin is using.

Hey, even my jets got killed a few times by those, because players usually hold back very long and try to attack jets that just had a longer and exhausting dogfight to get their K/D up, because they are still working on it.

So, don't bring up the Ki, it is the most stupid example you could use.

The Mig 21 is the other way round. It is the only Mach 2 plane at that BR and the others are several BR steps away.

It was an event plane everybody and its dog was able to get.

It was sold for not that much money on the marketplace.

It got 2 bad missiles.

You can't afterburner forever in AB.

That think is unable to dogfight most early jets.

It doesn't got any flares or caff.

So it is basically a flying rocket with a 23mm gun with low ammo, that might have problems getting its gun on target and can get very slow very fast, all together in the hands of stupid players.

Excluding those (forced) fuckups of the BR system, i would say it isn't looking that bad between BR 6 and BR 8. While I do have my problems with some BRs (mostly how US pilots manage to get the BRs of their planes that low everytime...) but we got mostly planes around 1000kph, some with early missiles, some not and if you keep your eyes open those old missiles are very unlikely to hit anything.

I would even say the Sea Vixen got the only good missiles, but it doesn't get any guns in exchange and is a big target that can't dogfight.

I would suggest the better solution is just keeping a 40's prop and a 70's supersonic jet from mixing.  The "hei" variant of the Ki-84 looks to vary only from the "otsu" in adding the two 30mm cannon.  I have a Ki-87 premium that has the same armament but slightly worse flight performance, and it's BR 6 while the "hei" Ki-84 is 7.7.  The people losing most are the ones wanting to fight props on props.  The early variant Mig-21's are BR 8.7, so having the "hei" variant at 7.7 would be more likely to run into it.  If it was a more realistic 6.7 it wouldn't run into a Fishbed unless it was the end of a player's lineup, in which case a lot of props could do the same thing you're describing.

It is a question about general statistics and if other players kill your hard earned good results or not.

The Ki-84 are all the same when it comes to airframe and engine and the first one was 4.7 for a long time. So the last one was overtired for a long time now - well, nothing new for japan.

But it wasn't flown much either. So it was the perfect target for xxxx up the BR by statistics system.

Because what bad players can do, you do see it at the Event Mig 21 - and many many planes of the US tree...

isn't the Tu-4 also 8.0

And the F-13 Mig-21 in the tech tree is also 8.7 . and there's one at 9.0 too. Imagine the kph difference would be more than 1k
