DaemonBlackfyre 66 Report post Posted January 13, 2023 What's the best way to win a 1v1 in a Lightning F.6 vs a SU-25K/SU-25? So I'm the last person alive on my team, the opposing team has an SU-7 (who was off farming points vs ground targets) and a SU-25K. I tried getting him earlier on in the match but he flared both my missiles, after rearming, which unfortunately let him rearm again, I tried using altitude and speed trying to stay out of his frontal area & get behind him, but he just pulls straight up and shoots a missile at me and of course I've got no flares (because what 50's aircraft does?!) and I can't out-turn a R-60M so I'm dead. I've heard other people saying they can kill SU-25s no problem, I can only assume that's when they're preoccupied, because I don't see how I can counter all-aspect missiles without flares, when they can flare my Red Tops all day and that thing turns better than a Lightning too. I mean, it's an attacker at 0.3 BR higher than me, I should be able to kill it with a fighter... Surely? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
