I see a large difference between it. Because the 2A6 used the same thermal sight as the 2A4 in Bundeswehr service, a first generation thermal sight. They where updated on the Leopard 2A7 and some export models of the 2A6/2A5. The russian pre-War BVM used imported Thermal Viewers from Thales (French defense company, however its thermal sensor is not really next gen...just the screen has a higher resolution lol ...for WT this means its a gen3 thermal ). German 2A6 has no upgrade for the gunners thermal device. But the Commander thermal viewer was upgraded. Just use the commander optics instead. If I remember correctly it even has better zoom. This and the elevated position on the highes point of the tank makes it superior to the gunners scope. But while we're at it, iirc the T-80BVMs Catherine FC only has a resolution of 768 x 576 which is slightly below the games 800 x 600 standard 2nd gen thermals.
