Aircraft

  • F-104S, F-104S TAF — a bug has been fixed where flare containers obstructed the drag chute.
  • Harrier Gr.7, Q-5L — a bug has been fixed that caused unlocking from the target when flying over it in the third person view.
  • Harrier Gr.7, Q-5L — a bug has been fixed where toggling to the nose camera might cause a laser lock-on reset.
  • DB-3A — elevation angles of the nose turret have been adjusted.
  • Kikka — a bug has been fixed with missing rocket engines after respawn.
  • Kikka — a bug has been fixed where after respawning the landing gear raised only in the visual model and detached at high speed in RB and SB modes.
  • A bug has been fixed that prevented MG fire from the helicopter in camera mode while using a gamepad.
  • A bug has been fixed involving different penetration values of the Type 94 gun on the Ha-Go tank and Ki-45 otsu.

Ground vehicles

  • 2S38 — elevation angles in the commander sight have been increased from -10…+20° to -15…+75° (report).
  • 2S38, 9P157, BMP-3 — a bug has been fixed that caused cyclic neutral gear switch while turning at low speed (report)
  • ELC bis — a bug has been fixed with different armour values in the info card and the armour view mode (report)
  • Chieftain Mk.5 Marksman — gunner and commander sight magnification has been changed from х8 to х3–10.
  • Leclerc SXXI — a bug has been fixed where the material of the side skirts was different from Leclerc S1 and Leclerc S2. Side skirts material has been changed from constructional steel to armoured steel.

Naval

  • The frequency of announcing a vessel’s turn orders and rudder position reports has been reduced. Phrases regarding a vessel’s roll will now be announced only when it is sinking. Phrases regarding critical roll will be announced as before when the vessel reaches this roll under any circumstances.
  • The ability to select torpedo sight with mouse or key has been added. The switch is located in: Menu > Options > Main parameters > Naval battle settings > Torpedo sight controlling with mouse

Interface

  • A bug that caused the points in the “Requirements to Candidates” window for the squadron to not fit the height of the window has been fixed.
  • A bug that caused the “Watch” button to not appear in the window for using a coupon that gives a skin/decal/decoration has been fixed.

Other

  • A bug that caused some vehicle models to appear in coal black colour in some cases has been fixed (source).
  • A bug that might make aircraft textures look blurry has been fixed (report).
  • A bug where the mouse cursor might jump to a second monitor when playing in full-screen windowed mode in naval and helicopter battles when the “alt” key has been pressed or a radio command has been sent has been fixed (report).
  • A bug relating to the periodic cessation of the battle replay when viewing from the official web page of the game has been fixed.
  • Hints about pausing the replay of the battle to download the next part have been added. Also download status information has been added.

The current provided changelog reflects the major changes within the game as part of this Update. Some updates, additions and fixes may not be listed in the provided notes. War Thunder is constantly improving and specific fixes may be implemented without the client being updated.

this seems to have permanently locked the mouse cursor in the game window unless you tab out. which is pretty annoying

Thank you for the genuinely useful fixes this time around, a few of these issues (Kikka gear/RATO) had been plaguing the community for months, and low quality or missing textures really did ruin the fun of having nice aircraft skins. 

 

You guys recently changed the Fullscreen windowed mode to lock the mouse in the window. I'm used to mousing over to my second screen by holding Alt in game to free the mouse, to change music or background videos I may be listening to while playing. I need to alt-tab to do this now, which I don't mind too much, but it takes more time and I am still getting used to it. 

 

Since it's still early on, could you pass along feedback so that we can make "cursor lock in window in Fullscreen window" an option in the options menu instead of being forced on?

Checked it with different PT boats, The V990, The pr.123's, The Dark series and the Japanese T38. They all work well.

as two others have mentioned now fullscreen windowed acts more like old school fullscreen by locking the mouse to WT which is really annoying, I would understand this in battles but the hanger? that is too much

Thank y'all so much for fixing the kikka glitch.

 

However, I have a question regarding something else in the Japanese tech tree. Since the type74g was removed from the tech tree as the top tier purchasable premium will it be replaced in say the next major update? Any insight y'all could shed on this matter would be extremely appreciated.

I am a streamer and not being able to seamlessly slip from one monitor to the other while live makes streaming hard work. This 'Bug Fix' has also affected the way keybinds are locked so that apps running full screen on other monitors cannot access the the key strokes to receive a command!

 

Playing in window mode is terrible and trying to play the game in direct Fullscreen instead of FullScreen Windowed affects how things are rendered on other monitors too.

The in game bug report demands a screen shot of the problem which is why I gave up yet again using that 'facility' as you cannot take a screen shot of multiple monitors in a single image that shows how each is rendering - the image would be just one resolution right across the whole image!

Um, thanks devs for completely erasing ALL my interface keyboard settings!!!  Now, I have to spend an hour remapping them as I had them set up.  Waiting until mid-game to realize I forgot some!!!

Well I did report an issue in the technical section but seems to have disappeared? This update is a disaster as I can no longer access the second monitor  at all! That means at any time anywhere, i.e. main menu/hanger etc.. The only way is to change graphics mode from Fullscreen Window to Window (only) which is useless as it doesn't even fit the screen properly, cutting off the bottom area which contains menu links (ie 'return to hanger') or when in battle the shell count. The ONLY other way to access the second monitor is to shut the game down completely!

Ki-45 and Ha-Go's Type94 Cannon penetration values are now the same. But does the game engine take into account the fact the airspeed of the aircraft adds to the cannon's muzzle velocity? A plane flying at 360km/h adds 100m/s speed to a shell fired from the plane.

An additional 100m/s in a projectile velocity can be a significant difference in penetration. (Gaijin's own ballistic calculator says an additional 100m/s increases the 37mm projectiles point blank penetration from 34mm to nearly 43mm. Which if I remember correctly, used to be the old penetration value on the Ki-45's gun.)

As others have said, the new "feature" where you cant use your seccondary monitor anymore without alt-tab is horrendous. I like to listen to music or have a video playing in the background when i play, and before i could adjust the volume of said music or video in a split second, and contiune playing. Now we have to alt-tab which can take several seconds, which can be a lot gamewise. For people who stream the issue is even worse. 

 

PLEASE FIX THE FIX!

im not sure what happened but the TPOD on the Harrier GR7 is now locked at a 90 degree up angle and its unusable, this needs fixing ASAP because it renders the aircraft usless at cas

I've got a question about a recent change in Air RB. Until quite recently (a few days ago, I believe) I could still kill tanks and armored cars with my Air Target Ammunition (in the Ho 229). This is not possible anymore and judging by the in-game chat, several other players are also confused about this. Have I missed a changelog? And why was this change implemented?
