Aiming reticle moving in 3rd person.

Is there any way to stop your barrel/aiming reticle from moving on its own when you aim the barrel at something you can't shoot through? An example is, say I am wanting to peek around a corner, and holy cow, there's an enemy tank looking the other way. So I scoot out... but my barrel moved up while I was behind the wall and I have to wait for it to lower down before I can shoot, and on some tanks, this takes forever by which time I've been spotted and blown away. I've looked through the various settings but I'm not seeing something that would control this.

When I say the barrel is moving, this is another good example. I see an enemy tank, and I'm moving into position where there's intermittent cover. As I'm trying to aim, if I move over say a column or pole, my barrel moves up, IE the smaller targeting circle moves on its own away from the larger reticle indicating where I'm pointing the mouse. This is another case where I come out ready to shoot, but my barrel is in the wrong position from where I was trying to aim.

That's the thing, it's not. Simply because I point it at something that is 'solid', the barrel moves. It does this even at a distance.

in your example it sounded like the barrel moved up because it was aimed at the wall... as you moved out to take the shot sorry if i misunderstood.  got a vid?

Been a bug for a while, erratic when it happens. Go to pull a bead and the aimpoint + slide's right off, you can't put it on target. Really bad with my US tree sometimes.
