unable to read chat

Change it to Dark and don't play snowy maps . . .  .lol, just kidding on the maps, some are very bright and yes, it does make the chat difficult to read sometimes. But you can go here    Controls - Main Parameters - Battle Interface - Player nameplates style . . .  I have it set to Dark.  I used Light for several years but changed it to Dark a few months ago. You can make other changes in that section as well that will alter how things look to you in game. Go for a test flight and try different settings from the Battle Interface until you come up with something that works better for you. I hope that helps you out, I am old and seeing things clearly gets to be more work all the time . . . lol

if you look at the player markers i am using dark... i have already tried light, and i thought that was only affecting the player markers above their vehicles.. i actually didn't notice if that had any effect on the chat window. (am in mid 50's and yeah steadily declining vision... i hear ya)

if we just had an opacity setting for the chat window this wouldn't be an issue
