Leopard 2 (PzBtl 123) - Best ammo to use

Just got the new turkish premium pack and I'm new to top army top tier. I'm learning it but I have no idea what ammo to use, currently using the DM23 Sabot shells, because I've been told to not use the DM12 even though they have a higher pen. Any advice is appreciated

DM23 is the better shell, it has higher pen. Some choose to use DM13 though because the difference between them isn't that big, and DM13 is half the cost.

Since it's a premium tank, it should somewhat cover the cost of fired shells

Also, another advice from Leopard 2 player

Take only first stage of ammunition (I believe it is 15+1 chambered), it will drastically reduce the chances of ammo rack explosion since you don't carry any next to driver.

Yes, before you spawn, take just 16 shells

I would assume for first spawn helicopter, atleast thats what I use the HEAT for. Maybe also for light tanks like 2S38 that are practically impossible to kill with APFSDS while hulldown

Don't rely on HEATFS, despite it heaving more pen. At Tier VI and VII, all tanks have either composite armor, ERA, or both. Use the DM23, so you lose less pen over distance.

Lightly armored vehicles and SPAA that are easy to overpressure. Usually allows to kill these vehicles by hitting them anywhere thus allows you to shoot at them while exposing less of your tank. On all tanks that use primarily kinetic shells you should carry 1-4 chemical shells be that HE, HEAT or HESH.

DM-23 best ammo. Take 20 DM23 and play.
