Best Russian Premium Planes and Tanks

Starting Russian tech tree and looking to get a premium plane and tank with GE, I have about 6.5k and I'd like to get a plane and a tank ideally, all suggestions are appreciated.

Sometimes Kv-2 Zis6 is available, but thats always timelimited, the tank is quite fun if you can handle the longer reload and brings a lot of punch with it - the T-34 in general is more consistent as a grinder.

I'd also recommend the P-47D for Ground Battles, it's a solid CAS plane (albeit only Rank 3 compared to the suggested Su-6, which is Rank 4). Has some bombs, and 8 .50cal Brownings can saw both planes and lightly-armoured units in half.

 

And out of tanks either T-34-57 for "cheap yet effective", or M4A2 for a more pleasant yet more expensive ride.
Although the latter is to be bought only on discounts from 50% or more, I happened to get a 90% off mine back in 2018 or 2019.

KV-2 Zis6 was nerfed ammo less pene now almost 10 penetration now have triple reload time from Tiger 1 and this same penetration it's a joke

Really? i though only the KV-2 with the 152mm AP was nerfed.

 

If thats true i need to re-test it, as it was quite nice against Jumbos and Panthers.

But the difference is still overmatch and normalization (i would also rather have a BR-365A 85mm with less pen than a short 88mm), but if Jumbos and Panther Hulls wont work anymore, that would be fatal.

Yes i had this problem primarily playing AB but had huge issues penetrating 5.7 and 6 BRs my first game realize something was wrong so check the card stats they nerf it from 163 pene to 155 filler is 440g tnt don't check what was before - Huge Disappointment now Tiger 1 have 165 pene with 108g with default ammo so make the KV-2 Zis 6 totally unworthy to buy and play it Tiger 1 - 7.9 reload KV-2 Zis 6 - 17.7

 

KV-2 Zis 6 is rare but now will more rare no armor and with nerf to the Gun just bleah better play standard KV-85 and IS-1

 

Checking old pictures they Nerf the Penetration stats on B-420

 

from 163mm to 155mm at 10m

from 138mm to 131mm at 1000m

 

they decrease the Muzzle Velocity from 830 m/s too 800 m/s

As you are clearly asking for Ground RB stuff and you got 2 recommendations from experienced players this should be fine for you.

 

In case if you try to use the prem P-47 for something else: 

I do not recommend using the D-27 in Air RB.

 

You need a hell of experience regarding positioning and how to use it:

 

MEC usage

energy management

decision making

overall tactics

 

to make this plane working if your intentions to play Air RB are more challenging than to strap bombs on it, bomb a base and get killed.

 

Not a beginner friendly plane.

 

The premium P-39 might be unsuited for Ground RB, but is still undertiered in Air RB. 

 

Very beginner friendly and a jack-of-all-trades if you avoid turnfights with Spits or A6Ms and fights above 6km due to sharp engine power drop above 4km. As long as you stay fast around 5km you are almost untouchable, only real threats are Ki44s at BR 2.7 and 3.7 due to good japan 0.50 cals (will kill you up to 1.2/1.4 km), good speed and climb, but you are faster and you can outturn and outdive them easy if you got caught off guard.
