It isn't a joker, It's a piece of ****!!! Many bugs and can't do any thing well, except anti heli. If gaijin don't know how to build a modern Chinese vehicle, I suggest them DO NOT to build it.If gaijin want to get more money from Chinese player, I think they should bulid the Chinese vehicle seriously but not give Chinese players a piece of **** with bugs.

Yes QN 506 is dog wather never the less what y mean by the PUMA's monstrous survivability what was the last time you play with puma ifv its horrible apfsds doing absolutly no dmg and also survivability is not there cuz gaijin accidently put out all puma armor soo now have none i niticed that a little while ago after last update drop that pume was non stop overpresured by autocannons with mixed rounds like apt -HE and than kill. In my opinion puma is trash now when its sits ok 9.3 fine its fast but its ´been nerfed twice first time they dont really told us about that cuz when first time was addet it actually can do what was designed for eat alive 30mm rounds from bmp 2 but now that  tiny apfsds nail one shoot you like there was no engine and before someone say its apfsds its zine of a nail its uselles from the front also now puma dont have its full prozection fron the front naider fron the side cuz yeah there is armor but simply is not modelled in x ray somehow they xxxx it up again but how bad is puma i still thing i like to play with puma more cuz qn 506 was biggest **** ive ever grind for this wehicle is trash it should be completly removed even if i remember how mutch time i spen grinding this 3days lmao its horrible maybe soo far worst wehicle and it wont be as bed as it is now if gaijin dont xxxx up everything they touch plus you have to have comander optic fully exposed and elevated zo lock on tank aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalsooooooooooooooo the **** dont work cuz is modeled wrong and those small rockets why you cant fire them at move another bull **** also your (fire -forget banana exploding mid air if your opent move 2 cm reallly cool wehicle again this was present for us and we again thing how op its going to be as we allready dont know gaijin shortly its broken but not in a good way, but on the other hand wha is broken is xxxx dmg model of 2s38 basily you hit that witrh 4atgmns frontthe side yellow ammo full crew he smile at you and you die thats compades i call balancem can wait to get mine post deleted by gaijin.

played it for a few hours today, its even worse than what I thought based on youtube reviews

 

doesnt work as a LT, and barely works as an aa. this is why:

 

  • to get a lock on against ground targets you need a direct line of sight (ie doesnt work through trees/bushes/smoke) to most/all of the target. ie if part of the target is behind a rock or bush you CANT get a lock on at all. this alone makes it worse than similar LTs like ZLT11 because if the target is fully visible you might as well put a proper dart through it
  • When you do get a lock, where the missile decides to hit is unreliable as hell. i shot a volley of 4 against a turms and only managed to damage his breech+barrel. tried against a xm803/xyz70 and killed 1 crew member with 4 missiles
  • main missile flies at 200m/s pulls like 5g and has no proxy fuse. you can lock aircraft but being this slow anyone with a brain will dodge it easily. ive only killed a few helis hovering or jets flying in a straight line with it
  • the 20 mini missiles are somewhat useful for destroying tracks/barrel/breech but with 200mm pen at 9.7 good luck penning era/composites

so its a lot worse than something like the ztl11 at killing tanks and worse than the pgz04 at killing planes. hell its less useful than a type93 and that is meme levels of trash lol

 

in its current form its 100% not a 9.7 vehicle, might be ok if it gets put at 8.3ab/8.7rb and play it like a bmp3 with some aa capability. at that br era/composites are rarer so the mini missiles might actually be useful

Is the commanders sight supposed to be blocked by the shield for 340 degrees, or is the shield supposed to rotate with the sight? Because right now the commanders sight is not usable most of the time and it glitches out and shakes like mad for the other parts of when you can actually use it?

Good point. Logically speaking, who on earth would design a CITV like this?

From photos and model in-game, it's pretty clear that the shield covered the vertical drive of the sight, and the vertical drive is on one big U-shaped component, thus the shield should rotate with the sight horizontally but, of course, not vertically.

It's clearly a bug, 'cause u can see how the Commander Sight is clipping through the shielding if rotated. 

 

Right now the the "target acquisition" (on a SUWQ Monitor) is shifted to the right side and it's shaking rly bad if u try to move it. 

 

The bug report is already open a couple days, i' m wondering when it will be fixed, 'cause before the last patch the sight  was working like it should.

That's way too much work but I definitely gonna try it lol. The timing must be the key.

 

I have the feeling this vehicle has a lot of potential locked behind bugs and poorly implemented lock systems. With a few tweaks it can fun... but never meta because of that goddamn hull and engine.

To immediately fix the tank all Gaijin needs to do is remove F&F and allow it to fire the missiles a la BMP-2M

While I'd love the option to fire it directly, I would not like the F&F removed entirely, because it's amazing vs helis. So a "switch" that can be done mid game would work for the best.

 

But anyway, I don't know if this option exists in the real vehicle, so...

Gaijin is incapable of proper balancing.  Allowing both would be the logical solution and realistic considering we're supposed to have NLOS firing.  Gaijin though is not a company capable of critical thought and rules by greed.
