How do I turn off squadron voice chat? I don't wanna hear other people's domestic conversations.

For whatever reason many console players have their microphone always on. I can hear them eating, farting, and talking to their mothers. I do not want to hear this. There is no way to mute these people, blacklisting doesn't work, sending them messages asking them to turn off their microphone doesn't work and shouting at them in squadron voice chat doesn't work either.

 

It seems that many of these players either don't care or are doing this stuff just to troll squadron members.

 

It's also a huge privacy issue as I've been forced by this game to listen in on many domestic conversations and occasionally this crap gets so bad I just quit mid-game and go away for several hours hoping that when I come back, these people have gone offline.

 

How the hell do I turn off squadron voice chat?
