I have played this game since 2017 and i can't get good, i have watched loads of guide videos for tanks, but i can not get anywhere with it, Be patient? don't go in the open? Does not matter ill still die.

The highest amount of kills i commonly get is 3 or 2, one kill one death, i'm tired of endlessly dying and have to play like 50 matches until i unlock a new tank. Should i just quit and not come back?

Do you squad up with others? I suggest finding a squad to join. Get on discord and learn by following and listening to them.

Also do ypu play just one nation? If yes maybe try a different tree. Different tanks might work better for you.  Playing other nations will also teach you how they are killed.

I can also see you've played less then 700 battles so your still inexperienced and suggest giving it more ti.e and attention and try some of my suggestions

You joined when I did. Ran into the same problem, got real tired of getting my butt stomped. What I did, is drop back down to lower BR's and just played steady, I quit chasing the next new thing in higher BR ranges, all that does is keep you on the low end of the constant uptier in low end hardware and you never have a chance to just learn the game overall. There's a lot to this that isn't in the guides or how to vids, take time to learn it.

Try several nations, get each levels hardware completely spaded before going up to the next level, You learn your tanks and the others strengths and particularly their weak points. Settle in around BR 4 to 5 or so and just play, build your lion bank too.

If you get one kill and one death and sometimes 2-3 kills,… not too bad. In the end of each game the top players have 6 or more kills. Those kills are coming from somewhere!!

There are probably more negative k/d ratio’s than positive.

I have similar stats and I have fun playing...I just realized I am an AVERAGE player...so those are "average" numbers...

This is good advice.  When I was working through the mid ranges I would unlock an tank and keep playing it until I unlocked winter camo.  I felt like in that time I would master that tank and really understand how best to play it in all the situations we face, kill the enemies you face and play to a tanks strengths and practice different play styles.  Relax, slow down, find a BR set and country and focus for awhile.  The Russians at 3.7 or 4.0 are a good place to find your feet.  Good tanks, light, medium and heavy to play and you spared dealing with Tigers and Panthers.   Plus the t-34 vs Cromwell, M24 and Sherman battles are always fun.

  • 2 weeks later...

For me I just ground a bunch of different trees to the WWll era and then messed around with em to see which ones worked for me. In nut shell I discovered anything with high armor low pen is a brawling tank. Take it into crammed areas like streets and castles. Anything with medium armor and medium pen is a multirole. Takes skill to snipe and to brawl. The light tanks with any gun trust to mobility.  Heavy tanks with high pen guns are great for sniping. They can brawl but their reloads are normally hampering. Anti air...... Don't be the guy that is trying to kill a tiger ll and then gets strafed.........
