Meh check out how naval battles are with great rewards for 0 actual game input if u dont lose sl at all for doing nothing and u get rp rewards for just getting shot and killed you could take a wild guess what would happen....... Your totaly right that repair cost should be less tho like it can be pretty easy to have 2 or 3 bad games they happen and end up -60 000 sl and that dont really encourage people to play after stuff like that happens nor does it get people to buy sl

 Gaijin would never be able to balance the B.R’s with repair costs, some vehicles are stupidly expensive, this in turn skews the use of certain vehicles and doesn’t bridge the gap at all. Repairs shouldn’t really be a thing, if it has to be then, they need to rework the hanger and incorporate an upgrade system, I can’t remember who suggested it, but something has been passed and considered which works on hangar upgrade mechanics, really great idea hopefully it will come in the not so distant future.

How about speed up the repair time if you are actively playing other nations or modes (Rank 3 or higher)  ....  Also allow players to earn repair boosters when playing other nations or modes (rank 3 or higher )  ....  This will help to keep game cues populated for everyone ...  repair boosters can be applied to a single vehicle ......  A combination of all these things can cut repair time in half

So the repair costs were dropped by a considerable amount already, last year? I do not see them furthering this to any extreme considering this.

 

They could unnerf Free Repairs on hangar however since this was forgotten during that particular update (repair costs dropped but time to repair stayed the same, therefore SL saved per hour was actually reduced).

 

TT will always be a zone of the harshest costs purely by the lateral design of the grind mechanic which is the basis for the entire game. If it were "easy" to stay SL buoyant at this "peak" of the tech trees then many more people would probably join the fully free to play section of the population, hoping whales are enough to keep the game attractive to the company.

 

Someone out there must be keeping on top of SL to continue to play these top tiers, not everyone is suffering.

That's bloody dumb and biased

 

if a vehicle earns too much relative to other vehicles at the same br (across the player base), i believe that is where the higher costs come from.  So no not bias.

STRV 101      - 7559

UDES             - 9844

T-54               - 8050   (look at the repaircost in the Russian lineup i use as an example)
Lkv 91            - 7085

SK60B           - 14170
                     = 47170

And now compare to a russian lineup with 2 medium tank, 2 light tanks and and plane at the same BR at the Swedish

T-54              - 6240  (1800 cheaper that the swedish counterpart)
T-54 (51)       - 5953  (2000 cheaper than the Swedish counterpart)
Object 906    - 4512

Bmp-1            -7026
Su-9              - 9170 (dont have rocket, but can use bombs and guns at the same time and it's faster)
                     = 32901

The difference is 15000 effing silverlions!!

Oh yeah, Russia even got a cheap AA, so they aren't just sitting ducks when the CAS starts to have fun

Gaijin dont give a fried poo about balance when they allow unfair sh*t like this to fly.

if bad players flock to an 'op' vehicle they can pull those earnings down when averaged out across all...

xxxx. Gaijin is selling Premium (essentially a subscription in mmo terms), battle passes, premium vehicles (mostly lazy reskins) , cosmetics, bush decals... they make enough money as it is. Repair cost reduction would make everyone happy and convince me that Gaijin is actually a company that cares about customer satisfaction and not about monetizing every single aspect of the game.

dude, in the example i showed the were two T-54, one is 2000 silverlions more expensive to repair.

The same bloody tank.

so the players that own either tank all perform the same in them?

 

looks to me like better players are playing the swedish tank and baddies are playing the russian.  i dunno how often gjn reviews repair costs though.... fomo and timing of a repair cost review could easily have an impact.

I just want it to be fair dude.

You try and play Swedens and you will see your silverlions evaporate like dew from the sun.

The  Pantsir is 7500 SL

The FlaRakRad is 9200 SL

Can you guess which one is on the 72% winrate team and which one is on the 42% winrate?

while we are at the guessing.

Guess which have longest range, fastest missiles, best radar and a bloody autocannon?

pantsir is brand new, once those earnings numbers sink in and gjn does a repair cost revision perhaps it will be adjusted.  or maybe it won't just to trigger ppl to consider grinding the line.

Repair costs is what drove me away the first time.  Once you hit tier III/IV, if you don't have a relatively good game, you lose in excess of 3k SL.  I just played a game earlier with a guy that was spawn camping, and flying a plane that was bv 1 higher than most of the people on our side (different issue) but everytime I would spawn in, either him or one of his squad members would shoot me down within 5 seconds of me jumping in my plane.  I went through all of my aircraft in less than a minute and lost 3k SL.

and how much did you earn on average?  did you lose sl or did you profit at all?  everyone complains about what happens when they lose their vehicle but how often is that?  it's not one match that matters...
