Not for me - there was a couple of days a few weeks ago when script or bot Kerch DD's were easy pickings, but that's dropped away - sometimes see 1 or 2 dodgy players in a game, but not often any more.

 

Still make a fortune.

Have you played a TT rank VI plane without premium? Especially one that isn't from a major nation.

 

You will lose SL if you die.

 

I can confidently say that rank V-VI air RB is very poor for making SL.

I play BR 3.0-8.0 (no interest in missile thunder).

 

I played some ground AB recently and couldn't believe how little I earned in a good game with premium time.

 

I can totally understand that if tanks was your main mode, you'd really struggle with SL unless you were a very good player.

 

I guess it's Gaijin's attempt to make people play the lesser populated modes, or have to buy SL.

You played this game 10 years which not many player have that much experience like this to grind . The median income for all the player around me is about 20k-30k sliver per game which is about 1 or 2 kill in a game plus some ground targets. Remember those slivers need to spend not only on the repair cost but buying new vehicle train your crew. And if you wish to get a ACE crew so you can fly the plane in perfect condition you need another big amount of sliver. You might think it is ok if there is no ACE crew but when the develop team is balancing vehicle they consider everyone should have ACE crew. For example in ground RB the America Abrams 105 gun is 7.8 sec reload with 5 points crew but with ace crew which it will become 6.5 reload time. It is significant when facing t72 7.1 second reload time autoloader. 

 

There is another way to efficient grind which also damage the long term of the game but I am also using it. It is play the low tier game. while the low tier vehicle has a low repair cost and there are some new player to the game you can easily kill them. Its kind of kicking new player out of the game because of they die too many times and before they learn how to play they either leave the game because of boring or become hker.

I just don't understand the perceived necessity to tighten the economy screws constantly... Yeah repair costs went down very slightly, some percents, while reward multipliers went down double digit percents, resulting in huge net loss. What's the purpose of this?

 

How I see it, if you constantly keep squeezing your playerbase tighter and tighter, that'll just lead to people quitting when they can't keep playing due to nerfed income, instead of increased revenue.

 

I just want to play fun vehicles without worrying if I can afford to play them or not.

I may not have noticed this before, but are the USA rank 7-8 aircraft all below 9k repair cost while every other nation is 13-20k or is it because I have other nations top tier already unlocked and or spaded and not US? Either way I know its messed up when the Mig21 SMT spaded cost more to repair than the MIG21BIS,MLD, or MIG29 all spaded as well. How does that logic work?

Yes, that is most likely it. Every modification you unlock increases the repair cost. The American event Skyray Jet for example starts with a 15k Repair Cost and caps at around 20k when fully spaded. I have not even considered putting it into a lineup/using it because of this.

You are not suppose to grind the TT. TT is like an appetizer, premium tech is a real dish served by Gaijin.

And you are not supposed to play this game for too long like some of us, addicts.

 

The goal is to sell the top tier premium vehicle to a new player, who will have fun for a week or two and leave.

That's it: Gaijin gets money, some dude gets as much fun, as he would get from AAA title (a week of playtime for 60$)

economic system now is a ****.

I don't know why gaijin set lower and lower SL and RP income,and it can be inferred that gaijin thinks gaijin will get deficit if players earn too much SL and RP.

if you throw yourself into the game,keep spawning,you may get more kills by chance but also definitely much more repairbill.repairbill fades players' passion of spawning vehicles.

we are here playing games for fun,not for torment. Not eveyone is a pro

I regret paying any money on WT. the premuim account and the vehicles are just an admisson ticket to the game.

it seem that WT is another version of tarkov

this economy is NOT SUSTAINABLE.

looking at top-ish tier jets, they're insanely expensive(rip sweden). How is this gonna work when more vehicles are added???? they're just going to be MORE expensive(25-40k repair probably)

the economic changes make no sense ... there are way too many nonsensical values. Just look at P-47 

 

3.7BR variants:

US - P-47D-22-RE (tech tree) - 1316SL stock repair, 1735 spaded

GER - P-47D-16-RE (premium) - 5000SL

UK - Thunderbolt Mk1 (premium) - 4485SL

CHINA - P-47D-23-RA (tech tree) - 1154SL stock repair, 1500SL spaded

FRA - P-47D-22-RE (premium) - 5800SL

 

5.0 variants (all tech tree vehicles):

USA - P-47D-28 - 2028SL stock repair, 2676SL spaded

CHINA - P-47D-30 - 1176SL stock repair, 1548SL spaded

ITA - P-47D-30 - 7342SL stock repair, 9689SL spaded

 

some difference in repair cost would be understandable, but come on ... what exactly can explain 6x higher repair cost on identical planes?
