Why negative* reviews?

What? No they haven't. The last legend of victory type event, the Sturmtiger, you could take one two-day period out of seven off. This one you had to play all six, no day off. This event that finished today was significantly harder than the preceding one, and that one was harder in terms of score than the last May event with the IS-2. Every one of these single-vehicle events has been a little harder to complete than the last.

I mean, if you had some other event in mind I don't know, but the one that actually finishes today got a little bit harder this time, that's indisputable.

Remember back when the events were to complete tasks rather then get Battle Points?

I do. I could get stars, MoDs, or whatever you want to call them within an hour and a half. Now it takes me a minimum of 3. They have DOUBLED the time it takes for someone like me to receive these vehicles. It is discouraging, and doesn't make me love the game anymore.

It doesn't feel good seeing a game I've loved playing for years have such negative reviews.

However, if this is what it takes to get this game's leadership to sober up a bit and to stop churning out half baked ideas and other nonsense, then so be it.

It's about time consequences were felt for room temperature IQ decision making.  As I said on my previous post, this may be a free to play game, but actually hold yourselves to a higher standard.

Also who here remembers or played top tier games in ARB when the game stucked at BR9.0 and no missiles/supersonic jets. People called the CL-13A Mk.5 overpowered because it was " few km/h faster than other aircrafts like American Sabres"...

Yeah, It was unbalanced as well but still better than current mess. I really miss these days and would like to play old top tier again.  :(

Omg, they added the Hunter F1, Mig-17 is all but useless now. ...If only we knew.

I'm all for adding new vehicles, but at what cost? What happened to the balance and making a fun and engaging experience. Why do we need to fight Aim-9L/R60/R60M in a 8.3-9.0 that struggles to break 800 at SL. Why can't we get separation by era/technology in a better defined way.

lol. I wasn't doing the event, but from the few ground battles I did, I apparently almost got 3 marks of distinction. Makes sense tho.35000 divided by 1.8 is 19445 score. 19 battles if you only get 1034 score per battle. 10 minutes each, 3 hours and some minutes per mark of distinction on 1034 score per match. More score less time.

So any sign of an update about this self-inflicted fiasco, entirely of Gaijin's making?

There really doesn't need to be any. The changes are already reverted and they're planning an overhaul.
Send feedback through their form and tell your WT friends to as well.
Be respectful.
& wait for them to go through all the responses. I expect mid-June before the first forum polls.

I just want to point out that it is quite disingenuous to call the econ update bad when something like 80% of vehicles got better and 20% got worse.

Also the over presense of top tier in discussion isn't good for the game at all for several reasons.

As for WW2 era the economy there is in fact fine and I am saying it as average F2P player without premium account with very little actual time to play.

All I can say say that I would be in favor of gradual change instead of forcing Gaijin into the corner without any actual idea what to want will only make further drama. Because I don't see how changes Gaijin is willing to make would actually satisfy the mob now.

Even so, the players of these 20% vehicles have already been oppressed beyond endurance. GAIJIN himself caused the current predicament, and these 20% did not even receive an apology. I don't think you should call us a mob. We have endured for a long time, hoping that GAIJIN will understand our thoughts, but GAIJIN has ignored them. If this troubles you, I apologize. But I hope you can understand.

It's too bad it had to come to this for them to realize that the community is seriously unhappy. I enjoy the game, but the companies priorities seem to be distorted. From game wide chat ban for 2 months last year to the constant adjustments to the economy.

I'm sure they could easily turn this around by just listening to the community and maybe using some of the Content Creators ideas.

I've had a Premium account for 2 years now, and understand that the company has to make money. But you ain't going to do that by driving away the F2P base, who may decide to invest some money in either premium account or vehicles. But it has to have some value.

I'm at that point where I just don't grind the lines anymore because I'm happy with certain vehicles and lineups, but I'm probably a minority in the player base.

players of these 20% vehicles

How they probably arrived at that 80% is counting EVERY player ever to have made an account. If you look at active players, this number is likely much lower... just look at the scoreboard, especially at higher tiers, and see the amount of premium vehicles. No way that 80% is correct.

Same here, I really don't grind anything. I did a grind for the F-16 and I'm glad that's over. I'm pretty satisfied with playing with what I already have unlocked. I don't even pay attention to the goofy battle pass or event vehicles.

The lack of listening seems to be a gaming industry wide issue. Just look at Blizzard/Activison with Overwatch 2 rn. They are getting roasted horribly, and rightfully so, for their poor decision making. I feel like these game companies get too big for their own good and start acting like they are God's gift to gamers; that they are beyond reproach and that we need to accept their excuses instead of holding them accountable.

Perhaps so, it's hard to imagine that only 20% of active players in the game are paying now.

This game is unique and no other game has this much content in accessible Vehicle game.

However constantly nerfing the economy to push people to buy more premiums was just the last straw, in a long awaited backlash from the community.

Like a prime example is the upcoming SU-39 Premium Vehicle.

Sadly Gaijin does not listen, but I think we can merge both systems.

Keep the scores, but introduce optional Tasks to speed up the Progression. And anyone who does not want to grind can still just buy the Task.

It's funny cause events have been made easier over time due to player feedback.
The points system is the best system yet for events. Supply your economy ideas to Gaijin via the form. & wait for polls & announcements. Keep supplying feedback.

It not the players problem also it part of the consequences for their mistake now it up to gaijin if get better thing will get better but you can’t rush it you need time

Except it wasn't their "mistake". They made the changes on purpose. They knew what they were doing. They knew they want our money and how to keep getting more of it. They're the creators of it, they know exactly how it works, and they keep making it more difficult to play without spending real money and they keep enticing people to spend real money, it's too obvious. And they basically openly cheat for Russia tree, and you can't not see this. So I don't think they care if people know all of this. Until this new situation on steam. Now they care. But that's just terrible. It shouldn't be this way. This game has some wonderful people who play it that are nice people and you can often see it here on the forum, you can see it in game with players helping others repair and being kind. But this company seems to only care about making more money. And to silent dissent. You can see that here on the forums. When they lock and delete posts. But hopefully for all our benefit, this latest situation will make them revert the negative changes and not do it in the future, and realize it has a good player base that already makes it money and would continue to do so if treated properly. But just know, it was no mistake by them.

I mean, here’s my opinion of Gaijin Entertainment. They are addicted to money. Everything they do for the game is for the purpose of money whilst ignoring the concept of balancing. Here’s a few examples: Kfir C7 being at 11.7… why make it 11.7 when it just gets 12.0 battles? Lack of countermeasures, lack of good armament for Air battles, like seriously… 4x Aim-9Gs? Against aircraft like the MiG-23ML/A/D, MiG-29, F-14..? All those aircraft have BVR missiles that you simply cannot dodge even when trying to use ground clutter. RWR seems to be unreliable too.

Basically USA, USSR & Germany & Japan are currently (and have been) on top of their game when it comes to receiving unfair aircraft (with more to come) whilst leaving Sweden, Israel, Italy & even China for that instance, very poor performing. Sweden being the worst of the bunch. How can you successfully use the JA37C without getting demolished 3 minutes into taking off by Aim-54s & Aim-7Fs. Even the new Viggen they are getting, the AJS37… it’s basically a carbon copy of the AJ37 with lacklustre missiles & barely enough Air to Ground ordnance to wipe out half a base, and it still is going to be slammed into 11.3 where 96% of the time you’ll get chucked into 12.0+, whereas the up-coming premium Su-39, (bare in mind is also 11.3) put into the same BR, but it has IRST (somehow) & R-60MKs, & enough of a flight performance to somehow not lose energy when turning.   So tell me how the new “and modernised” Viggen (that was also the most modern aircraft of its time in real life) is meant to compare to the Su-39, instead of Sweden just getting an early Gripen variant, and ditching the stupid JA37C & AJS37.

Don’t even dare mention that the Viggens have good flight performance when they dump 400KMH when turning 50°.

Just a plain example of money hungry Gaijin.
