Sayonari 0 Report post Posted May 21, 2023 I'm currently deciding if I should research between two vehicles: The AD-2 seems a lot less useful to me than the AM-1 because of its payload but if I research the AD-2 I get the F3D which seems like a good CAS jet that can go with my best ground lineup the T34, T26E1/E5 and the M56 (as long as I don't get uptiered to 7.7). The F-84 series certainly seems better as a fighter because of its speed, agility and airspawn but the P-51H has a less than ideal stock performance. Though fast, the idea of only 6x50 cals at 6.3 doesn't appeal very well to me. To summarize the F-84 is a better fighter and an okay CAS aircraft while the F3D has a better payload and guns - So what should I get? Target1331 3,055 Report post Posted May 21, 2023 All of them are good in their own right, cannot go really wrong with any. Depends on your play style and/or if you have SL/RP issues or not, if no issues, go for all of them. Mauler, Skyraider, and F3D are more dedicated CAS and the F3D is more maneuverable than the F-84, which is better at high speed and has a slightly more versatile loadout (though F3D does come with Tiny Tims, if you like them more than HVAR, but you only get 2).
