Hit with bad luck and timing

I been playing war thunder on my ps5 for a good chunk of time now, been logging in everyday for the rewards and grind as much of the game out as much as I can. Until I was watching YouTube earlier and I saw a anime-themed war thunder ad and talking about getting a free body pillow but when I tried acquiring it, the event ended already? Does anyone know when the event ended and if so why are there still ads for it on YouTube? I wished I got the ad sooner this week so I could've got the free pillows and hope this doesn't become a problem in the future where ads will still promote an event that ended already.
