In the game the Type 5 Chi-Ri turret is located almost in the middle of the chassis but the Chi-Ri in real life has a turret mounted in the front of the hull ...

As you can see when comparing Chi-Ri model to blueprint and illustration, the chi-ri in the game appeared to has its turret slightly too far from the front.

NOT a primary source.

I compared to a scale model of Type 5 Chi-Ri from Fine Molds, A Japanese model making company that mainly focusing on Japanese WW2 AFV and their models tend to be extremely accurate to the historical vehicles.

In this comparison you can clearly see how far back the turret is placed on the Chi-Ri in War Thunder.

My suggestion to fix this issue is to fix the model of Ch-Ri by move its turret to the front slightly as it should be, according to the historical Type 5 Chi-Ri.

Actually when you use the back of the turret ring as reference, it looks like it is at the right place

This would mean the turret ring was larger IRL too (enlarging the circle would move its centre forward)

I would also like to clarify that the tower itself seems to have an irregular shape:
1) The antenna mounting, the roof hatch and the side hatch are offset from the actual location.
Based on the size of the roller, taken as a conditional equivalent, we get:
2) The gap between the roof of the hull and the stern niche of the tower and warms more than 40%
3) The projection of the bevel of the forehead of the tower on the viewer in the game is shorter by 20%.
4) Angles are absolute and do not need to be extrapolated.
5) E.t.c.

Hello,

This is a difficult one to forward, as some of the problems described are based off of design drawings rather than pictures of the actual tank.  If you can find more pictures of the actual vehicle, please update your report with them.  And as always, remember to provide the source of said pictures.

The sources to the images i posted can be found right under each image.

Most of the images of both photographs and drawings are mostly from the same book.

As you can see the turret of chi-ri on the game is quite far from the front.

I fixed the turret position accordingly to the blueprints.
