The Heavy Tank T30 was a World War II American tank project developed to counter new German tanks, such as Tiger I, Tiger II, and the Jagdtiger or Soviet heavy tanks, such as IS-1 or IS-2. The T30 was designed at the same time as the T29 Heavy Tank.

and I honestly do not see any reason to open a suggestion for the T-30 as the BVV_d have said all American heavy (T-29, T-30, T-34) line will enter the game later this year.

There are some things that Gaijin just can't do in this game, and I'm pretty certain locking the reload for a certain angle is one of them. Besides, the T-62 would also have to have this realism factor put on it as it could only reload when the gun was at 0 degrees because the tiny cramped turret.

 

Also I'm pretty sure the T29, T30, T34 series was already confirmed by BVV_d

Yeah, had a HVAP shell.... I've mentioned it elsewhere: 5 rounds were made, of which three were fired, of which, one blew up in the breech, and the other blew up/blow out the barrel. I would have to assume that the third fired round was successful, but that means any penetration data for it would have to be calculated, OR, that any rare existing data of it would be one-of, and prone to potential error. 

 

 

But I mean, 2,200 ft/s isn't that screaming fast. About 720m/s... For that big of a howitzer, it's massive, but, it's definitely going to need a range finder for any kind of long-range work.

turret armor isn't anywere near t32... frontal sides are 159mm at 45 degree, mantlet after complex mesurment is only 204mm, 279mm is near gun like in m48, but at much smaller area.

I'm all for it, if they get the armor right.  They probably need to do that measurement with a lot of tanks to get their true thickness right.  It shouldn't be too high of a BR though unless it gets HEAT.  Since, the AP is underwhelming for penetration, granted anything that it can penetrate will die due to 635g HE filler.  The HE may be pretty nasty though.  And I do have very limited information on the 155mm HVAP.

I agree! I want the American T29, T34, and T30; the T30 is like a ISU-152 but worse because he has a turret.
