  1. 1. Would you like to have the latest version of Centurion in the game?

Good morning everyone!

I would like to introduce you to the latest version of the famous Centurion

Two types of weaponry were tested in this tank.
The 20PDR and L7, however, the suggestion i present here is the L7 105mm, and would be a great tank on the British tree.

Briefly it is just a Centurion MK.10 (Currently 7.0 in the game) with increased armor in the turret.

The surviving Action X Turret.

With its larger armor in the turret, it can face stronger enemies like IS-3 and T-54.

The Action X turret was planned to be used for later variants of the Centurion tank. One prototype of the turret was mounted on the chassis of the Centurion Mark 7, and another was used for ballistic trials. The vehicles with the Action X turret never entered mass production or saw service.

This tank may be the last link between the Centurion and the Chieftain. And I believe it would be a great 7.3 or 7.7

If you think this Centurion would be very welcome, give your support, show your interest.
Voting is important, but explaining the reasons for having it in the game is even more important.

Have you attempted contacting someone such as David "Listy" Lister? He has been to the British archives numerous times and might have access to the sort of information you are looking for.

sorry but the last thing we need is another British prototype tank. :/

Why ?
If you are comparing it to the failure of the FV4202, you need to review your position.
The British BR 6.0 did not need a prototype, as it could be much better if it were used in its place the Centurion Mk.2
But in the case of Action X, the British tree needs a lot of level V tanks.

Yes, I tried.
I think you even told me to look for him.
But I was not answered.

I noted that you are suggesting specifically the L7 armed version of the Action X. For those who don't know, there was also a 20 pounder armed variant

I suggested the 105mm version, because I thought the 20pdr version would be just another FV4202

I agree, and on top of that, armour improvement would mean it'd be superior to the Cent Mk 10.

I found plenty photos of the turret from Bovington at this site http://yuripasholok.livejournal.com/4840919.html

Everything else it's Russian, maybe someone can help or try translator if there's information's.

Basically what more do they need to consider the suggestion ? Action X was basically a MK 7 with a mantletless turret :)http://imgur.com/a/BrH4q

I think the 20 pounder would make for a nice premium.

The comments that im seeing below your topic are not giving you what you need, i decided to spend the time to find any data or statistics about the vehicle... Unfortunately the closest i could find was these 2 websites below:

http://ftr.wot-news.com/2014/01/11/historical-candidates-for-fv4202-replacement/

http://ritastatusreport.blogspot.com/2015/07/real-life-action-x.html

The rest are websites of the WoT version of the Centurion Action X and how it performs in that game..

I went website after website after website, i gave up, i could not find anything aside from the turret armor values of this tank, the data is just too small for it to be passed into development and as much as i would like for that tank to be in the game it doesn't seem to be possible..

Im sorry, i tried my best..

Have you tried searching the National Archive's online database as well?

Shows no results about the prototype tank.

Well that is unfortunate. Sometimes you can find some interesting info through there about British vehicles, although searching through all the noise is difficult.

Wait so Centurion Action X was a FV4202 turret with a L7 and on a centurion hull?

There are some differences if you observe the turrets closely, but they are very similar.
