Your_delasre 16 Report post Posted June 6, 2017 (edited) I've had War Thunder installed without playing it for a while (Read, Months), and decided to uninstall using steam. Now, there are still leftover files which I deleted, but one folder located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\War Thunder needs "admin permission" to delete it. Note: I am the admin. It needs admin permission from: S-1-5-21-3458474618-92495070-1511259807-1002. I'm not kidding. Help? EDIT: I've also done the program uninstall as well as the steam one. Not sure if that made a difference. EDIT 2: I can't reinstall on steam either. I also can't move them. Or rename them. Looks like they're locked. EDIT: Due to me being inactive, I can't reply... So I'll answer in these edits. It's not the whole war thunder folder, it's just that folder, a few inside of it, and the things inside there, Edited June 7, 2017 by POWER_PIPLUP

It's not the whole war thunder folder, it's just that folder, a few inside of it, and the things inside there, I also noticed it only happens if steam is installed into the ProgramFiles and ProgramFiles(x86) folder. After are installed it into a custom folder i.e. D:/Steam everything uninstalls normally. But if install it to any programfiles forlder i always have to manually kill tasks to get permission. Kill tasks? Is there any specific task I need to kill?
Your_delasre 16 Report post Posted June 10, 2017 Nevermind, I fixed it with command prompts.... Had some issues with pathing, but it works.
