Dear Players!

 

Welcome to our new Top Skins of the month competition.

 

Every 2 weeks a panel of official judges, chosen from the team, will vote on the top 5 skins submitted and the winners will receive 750 Golden eagles for being placed in the top 5. Every 2 weeks, 5 new winners will be drawn and at the end of the month, the judges will vote on the top 3 of the month from the 10 winners throughout the month and those winners will earn 2000 GE each!

 

The Top three skins of the month will be chosen for following categories:

 

1. Historical Skin (any historically correct skin - aircraft / tank)                     

2. Historical Ace Skin (any historically correct skin related to ww2 ace - aircraft /ground vehicle)                      

3. Non-historical Skin (anything creative enough to get our attention)

 

Please post your creative, unique, historical or very special skins only. If you post something ridiculous like a bright rainbow skin, your skin will not even be considered. We will be choosing more historical and special skins. You are free to post skins for both aircraft and ground vehicles.

 

 

 

Rules:

• Include the category of your skin, title of your skin and if desired, a brief description of it.

• All skins must be uploaded to our live.warthunder site with the link to your skin added to your entry.
   

• All entries of a Historical skin are required to provide, in addition to their creation, a link to, or direct picture of, a real photo of the plane/tank for which the skin has been based off.
   

• You may submit a maximum of 1 skin per month if you win in weeks 1-2.
   

• Entries containing swastikas, SS division symbols, profanity, vulgar symbols, etc. will not be accepted.

If a skin submission has previously won, it will no longer be accepted in future selections.

There are no Tri-planes available in War Thunder to make a true historic replica however I found the I-15 1935 Moscow to give me the feel of the old aircraft experience. This is a fun level one plane to fly, and the skin makes it special.
Damage files are included.
White pin stripes on the tires, hehe.
The insignia on the tail was quite the chore. pretty close!

In 1953 a lot of planes came from Romania to Yugoslavia they escaped the Regime that Romania had in that time. Among them ware 2 Jets an Yak 23 and the other was an MIG 15 who damaged his landing gear and wing by landing. Yugoslav airforce secretly repaired the Mig 15 and evaluated it. Tito himselfe came to see this aircraft. Rare Picture below. - True Story This was my inspiration to make this one.

P26/40 Turm-Nummer 111 ,used by the 24th Panzer-Kompanie Waffen Gebirgs, 1st platoon, Friul region, May 1945.

 

This skin is based off of a P26/40 that belonged to the 24th Karstjäger Pz.Kp. It was lost on the 2nd May 1945 in a Yugoslav/British attack on a column of retreating German forces. It was destroyed by a British Sherman tank after being hit 6 times and bursting into flames
