As i haven´t seen this suggested before,i thought I´d go ahead.

Short Overview:

The Warrior IFV was conceived out of a requirement set in the 1970s.This led to a competition, which was ultimately won by GKN Sankey and resulted in the Warrior. The final product entered service in 1988,and continues to serve until this day.

Variants

FV510 Warrior/MILAN

This would make a fairly good counterpart to the BMP-1 and, potentially, the Marder 1A3.Armed with the 30mm L21 RARDEN clip-fed autocannon and A Euromissile MILAN launcher mounted on the turret in similar fashion to the Marder series.Base configuration can withstand 14.5mm AP rounds, with applique armor package further increasing the protection at the cost of weight.Overall rather comparable to the Marder, with better capabilities against ground vehicles, but worse capabilities against airtargets.Similar to BMP or Marder, the gun is not stabilized.Battlerating should be around 7.3-7.7.

Upgrade wise,MILAN should probably be standard,or atleast a T1 unlock.Applique armor should be optional (giving the option between mobility and protection)

FV510-Warrrior-Iraq-with-Milan-firing-po

(FV510 with MILAN launcher in the Gulf War.Applique armor package is fitted.Interresting are the two MILAN containers strapped to the rear deck)

Desert Warrior

This version was conceived for export and is used by Kuwait.Similar to the FV510 with the applique package, but with a DELCO turret fitted with a stabilized 25mm M242 Bushmaster autocannon and two TOW-Launchers (one on each side of the turret). This would be relatively comparable to the M2 Bradley in setup and performance.Battlerating should be around 8.0-8.3.

Other variants exist aswell, including one with a 105mm cannon, however these are rather hard to find information on and therefore i left them out (for now)

Implementation in Techtree:

This Vehicle could be implemented as a standalone vehicle, similar to the Begleitpanzer 57,with the Desert Warrior linked to the Warrior as a upgrade.

Alternatively,it could be preceded by the FV432/30 and FV432/WOMBAT.

+1 I feel like vehicles like this (IFVs in general) could really have their spot in the game now that helicopters are coming and their autocannons are probably very lethal against those airframes.

I think this would work!

Like what has already been said, the auto-cannon is finding more and more uses in-game. Especially with the advent of helicopters, not to mention there's more soft-skin stuff in game that make the cannon more effective.
