General Info
During the 1960's Agusta was looking to break through the export market by designing the A109, mainly intended for commercial use and a civilian market. It was re-designed in 1969 as there was a need for twin engine to actually compete with other contenders, this lead to the A109 to be fitted with 2 Allison 250-C14 turbo shaft engines. In 1971 its first maiden flight was conducted, testing was halted due to a minor accident that occurred but testing quickly resumed in 1972. Then in 1973 the first ever Military prototype was presented with all of its configurations, which changed the vehicle from being centered only for civilian use. Many tests were conducted on the military versions of the A109, the first set of armaments being equipped on them being Hughes Aircraft-built TOW missiles. Mainly between 1976 and 1977 the tests that were conducted allowed 2 different military variants to emerge, them being one for light attack/close support missions and the other for shipboard operations. Once Agusta was more than happy that their helicopters were ready many civilian versions of this aircraft started being exported around the globe, mainly in the middle east and africa. In Italian service the Italian Army obtained the A109CM as the "A109EOA" utility / scout helicopter, with "EOA" standing for "Elicottero d'Osservazione Avanzata". It was able to mount guided and unguided rockets. The launchers can carry TOW, ITOW, TOW2 and TOW2A missiles, countermeasures and 12.7mm general purpose door mounted machine guns allowing the vehicle to be very versatile and potent. The A109BA was also exported to belgium in which it had access to even more armaments. Currently 32 additional countries are using the A109 either in civilian or military configurations, and till this day keeps on being in service and countuines to be upgraded to not lag behind other countries' types of helicopters.

Why it should be in game
This helicopter should be in game because i feel as if Italy can benefit from this helicopter a lot due to the amount of armaments it was able to use, although not all of them were used on the italian ones it still goes to show that this helicopter has the potential to bring in its other variants from around the world such as the belguim or argentine versions which had their own set of unique armaments. Italy can become even stronger when the italian helicopter tree comes out later this year, this helicopter would most likely be played similar to the Lynx that the British have. Italy really doesn't have a lot of helicopters compared to other nations so this might be able to fill any gaps that might be needed when the tree comes out.

+1

At least 2 or 3 versions should be in the main tree and 1 can be a premium(Argentinian is the best choice I think)

Yeah the Argentine version as a premium would be really cool tbh.

The Mathogos are ATGMs not rockets !. kinda comparable to the SS.11s, same range but lower penetration.

The helicopter with the missiles:

The missile

They dont rest with the warhead outside the box, they are all in when armed.
