General info
The history of the Bf 110 C-3 starts in the 1930's, many nations were looking to modernize their aircraft fleets, Germany at the time, made a request that was pushed by Hermann Göring, they were looking for a new multipurpose fighter called the Kampfzerstörer (battle destroyer) that had the capabilities of being deployed long range whilst also having an internal bomb bay. Messerschmitt managed to defeat Focke-Wulf, Henschel and Arado. This means the funds to build several prototype aircraft would become available, they would end up getting many praises and promptly got put in service in 1937 inside of the Luftwaffe. The Messerschmitt BF 110 was originally designed as three seat strategic fighter that had the task of clearing the way for the bomber formations that followed. For this Eventually it came to the point to put in on the export market and many countries would end up acquiring, such as Italy in the Regia Aeronautica. As previously mentioned,  it was originally designed as a three seat aircraft, but throughout the war it would accommodate a crew of two and used as a fighter escort for bomber formations and also used as a light bomber that could also handle missions that required deep penetration into enemy territory. After training and familiarization of Italian crews with the German twin engine in Germany, the planes was transferred in Italy in July and August 1942. Italy would specifically utiliste the Bf 110 C-3 that had the upgraded 20mm MG FF/M. In terms of armament, besides the aforementioned 20mm gun, it also had an amazing payload, it was able to carry up to x2 1000kg bombs, which would powerful enough to destroy and level entire city blocks if used right. In terms of speed, The Bf 110C would use the Daimler-Benz 601A engine, which allowed the aircraft to reach speeds of 349 mph. It had a great climb rate and a range of 482 miles, which really pushed itself in becoming one of the best aircraft's for its role. The use of the Messerschmitt Bf 110 in the Regia Aeronautica was very limited, this was mainly due to Germany being unwilling to provide more aircraft than the ones they had already delivered to the Regia Aeronautica. Italy had tried to ask for more deliveries for the aircraft, more specifically they wanted at least 24 Bf 110F (the most recent version equipped with the 1,350hp DB 601F engine) but Goering replied that the production of the 110 had ceased. Strangely this wasn't true, Goering had lied to Italy for some reason, in fact Germany at the time was experimenting a brand new variant of the aircraft with the Luftwaffe, they had successfully experimented with the use of the Bf 110 F-4, which was a version equipped with the new FuG202 radar, mainly to be used as a night fighter, and also in the interception of allied bombers. Italy knew something was up, so they had kept on asking for more, since after all they were allies and Italy was sharing their tech with the Germans, so there shouldn't have been any reason for Germany to not help. Eventually Goering was persuaded to send Italy a small batch of new Bf 110 C-3, which would be incorporated into the 235th Squadriglia, 60th Group, 41 * Stormo stationed in Lonate Pozzolo (Va) and used for night hunting (with only one shooting achieved by Captain Ammannato). They had mainly been used in the defense of Milan from attacks by allied bombers. After more pressure from Italy, Germany allowed Italy from the summer of 1942, to equip their C-3's with new FuG202 "Lichtenstein" radars, although documentation on them is scarse. Overall the BF 110's were used extensively, and although it did suffer at times due to its low acceleration speed, it still proved to be a realible vehicle, and generally liked by the people who piloted the aircraft.

Why it should be in game
Should be added to the game as it will help italy get stronger in terms of the air tree, its a relatively easy add and would make many people happy. More people will hopefully play the tree. This vehicle isnt op and will play a lot like similar vehicles already in the italian tech tree.

+1 but as a premium, Italy should get more domestic aircraft in the tree, such as FC.20bis, that is going to be added next update. While premium branch is getting filled by other nations aircraft which Italian Air Force has never used, I prefer to see planes like Regia Aeronautica Bf-110 as a premium instead.

Maybe for tech tree. We already have G-4 in the premium line and currently Italian heavy fighter/attacker line is so small, 1 more non-Italian plane will be not that bad.(Of course Italian domestic planes are better)

+1

I think there is enough copy paste already.  There are Italian Options here

Not a whole lot as far as heavy fighters go.  Most of the ones they actually used were imported from other countries (namely Germany and, post-war, the US).

Fun fact for people who do not know : the man in this famous photo is Captain Aramis Ammannato.

His father was a fan of A.Dumas, so the three sons were called Aramis, Athos, Porthos.

Of course I support this suggestion

As a rare event premium.

Because it's a rare variant of Ro.57. The serial one Ro.57bis is still likely to come, but at lower br because of worse offensive armament.

I changed my mind, because of the addition of BBs. For now the only plane in the tree, which can kill BB is a premium Hungarian Bf 110 G-4. Imo we need 1000 kg bomb carrier in the regular tree :017:
