[Ukraine] T-55AGM - A heavily upgrade project for T-55

Hi everyone, I am going to suggest a upgrade version of T-55 called T-55AGM .

Background:

 

Although the T-54,T-55 and type 59 have developed over 60 years, there are many countries still using this kind of tanks. So, there are different upgrade project to improve their performance. The Kharkiv Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau from Ukraine developed a upgrade project for the T-54,T-55 and type 59 mainly focus in the aspects of mobility, protection and firepower to make them up to modern standard.

Maximum on road speed: 70  km/h (40% faster than original T-55)

Maximum reverse speed: 30 km/h (5 times faster than original T-55)

Average speed on natural soil road: 30-35 km/h (increased 22% compare to original T-55)

Average speed on highway: 40-45 km/h 

 

Number of forward gears: 6

Number of reverse gears:  1 +3 (3 more than original T-55)

 

Speed in 1st gear: 8.5 km/h

Speed in 2nd gear: 15.8 km/h

Speed in 3rd gear : 24.9 km/h

Speed in 4th gear: 34.2 km/h

Speed in 5th gear: 47.2 km/h

Speed in 6th gear: 69.3 km/h

Speed in reverse gear: 4.8 km/h

Speed in IR gear: 10.7 km/h

Protection:

Cover: Frontal hull, hull side, turret front, turret side and turret roof

Effectiveness of Nozh:

Against chemical rounds: by a factor of 2.3 - 2.6

Against kinetic rounds: by a factor of 3.5 - 4.3

The Nozh will not detonate when hit by 30 mm rounds or lower in caliber

 

5. Passive armor protection

Cover the side of the hull with armored side skirt plate and rubber fabric side skirts.

Equipped with laser rangefinder

 

Auto loader: 8 rounds/mins

                       18 rounds in auto loader

The auto loading system is carried by a horizontal loading system in the back of the turret.

1k14 day/night sight: magnification of X10

PTT-M thermal imaging sight

 

Commander sight: PNK-4S 

Magnification of X7.6 (Day), Magnification of X5.8 (Night)

Can use thermal sight in commander override mode

 

There are two types of main gun including KBM1 and KMB2 (Both of them equipped with stabilizer)

I'd like to see this but I wonder where Ukrainian vehicles would go.  Putting them in the Russian tree seems like a bad idea.  Future Eastern European tree perhaps?
