The IAI Machbet is an upgrade to the IAI Hovet (designation for the M163 PIVADS in Israeli service) introduced in 1998.  The Machbet retains the 20mm Vulcan cannon of the PIVADS/Hovet but adds SAM capability by attaching a pod to the turret containing four FIM-92 Stinger heat-seeking missiles.  Its cannon can be set to fire at either 1,000 or 3,000 RPM and can be programmed to fire in bursts of 10, 30, 60, or 100 rounds.  Compared to the PIVADS/Hovet the Machbet carries slightly less 20mm ammunition (1,800 rounds instead of 2,200), likely to free up space to carry a full reload of Stinger missiles (for a total of 8).  Like the Hovet, the Machbet has the Zelda armor upgrade, which adds spaced armor in the form of perforated steel plates mounted along the front and sides (also referred to as the Toga armor suite).  The vehicle is equipped with improved TV and FLIR targeting and auto-tracking equipment over its predecessor and mounts a targeting/tracking radar.  However, it does lack a search radar.  In combat, the Machbet is designed to interface with an EL/M 2106 ground-based radar system and use this data to search for targets at long range, although this function will not be present in War Thunder.

The Machbet remains in active service with the Israeli military and no replacement has yet been projected.  It has also been offered for export but no nations have thus far expressed interest.  I could not find information on the exact number in service but it is known that nearly all Hovets have been upgraded to the Machbet standard.

With Israel coming to WT the Machbet would serve as an excellent high-tier AA vehicle for their ground forces tree!

Just adding a little note here you should have also probably mentioned - Israel upgraded all of their M113 hulls (this includes the Hovet and Machbet) to be able to include a toga armor add-on called Zelda which acts as spaced armor. This should make the Machbet slightly more survivable against low caliber fire and perhaps even shaped charge based projectiles:

Oh, thank you!  I'll be sure to make a note of that in the post.
