ps5 flightstick hotas T 16000 not working - plz fix Gaijin

Hi,

I'm picking up SIM battles again. 

On the Ps4 my hotas T 16000 is working but not on the Ps5.

It's not working on Playstation 5!

The weird thing is that the Sony Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas 4 is working on the Ps4 and Ps5 but this Flightstick is not good
because it's elastic analog junk and not digital steered with a bal like the T16000.
Also the Sony Thrustmaster T.Flight is not digital so you can't fix the deadzone! Crosshair aiming with guns won't work!

I would like to play with the T16000 on the Ps5.

Plz fix this.

The T16000 is the only flightstick on the playstation that can handle Warthunder SIM.

Plz help.

I am assuming you mean the T 16000 . The problem you  and i have  is that SONY is the bad guy here. They allowed quite a few after market accessories to be used on the PS4 but not the PS5 . They seem to have only allowed accessories that are approved by SONY ( which i assume the after market suppliers have to pay for the privilege )  So in a nut shell they came out with a console that could compete with a pc, but cannot do so because they limit the accessories to toy like products for child like games.

I completely agree!!! I have a ps5 now but still play warthunder on ps4 because of this since I really only play sim. Its such a bummer!!!!!!

I really wish this could be fixed. I still play WT on PS4 because I use stick/throttle/pedals in Sim. I really wish I could play with the better graphics on PS5!!!!!!

 

If Gajin and Sony can work things out I'll buy a few $70 tier 7 premiums!!!!!!! haha

This could be the key. Why cant Gaijin ask sony to incorporate the  peripherals  in an update to the PS5

From what I understand and its Sony that is restricting the use of unauthorized peripherals, but maybe someone from Gaijin can comment officially though. I wonder if there is something that can be worked out to only allow them on Warthunder one day. I've got a VKB gunfighter with long extension, CH throttle quad and pedals, with a keyboard and mouse running on the PS4 through a 4k 46in TV. There is no way I will ever purchase the crappy sony authorized HOTAS just to play on the PS5. I really only ever play SIM so using the controller has no interest to me.

 

I've found devices that trick the PS5 into allowing unauthorized game pads but they are expensive and I'm not sure they would work for a more complicated joystick with many more buttons than a controller. I'm not willing to waste the money on them to try either.

 

I do log in on the PS5 sometimes to see how beautiful the graphics are but its also just depressing.

If your talking about a ZEN i bought one it did not work and returned it

Can you please ask SONY to make it compatible? It works on PS4 but not on the PS5.

The Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas 4 is not a good flightstick, its not accurate enough, and the deadzone is horrible.

Good luck, i also contacted TM by their chat and all i got was the run around and they denied that the better stick(T16000) and throttle (TWCS)  wouls work on a  PS4  ???

Guys you wont believe this.

 

War Thunder has an option to make the Trustmaster Hotas on the PS5 or PS4 a stable flight stick.

 

I've been playing Air Simulator for about a week and i figured out a way to make it responsive and stable.

 

I still recommend playing with a T.16000 stick on PS4.

 

On PS5 there is a setting called stick dampening.

 

This will make the "cheap" Sony Hotas flightstick stable and responsive.

 

Im not kidding i'm now with one week experience one of the top players in SIM.

 

I went from negative SL to 11 kill games..
