Yeah it’s been discussed before, and unfortunately it is what it is. Jump to cockpit view if there are enemies close. Do not lower your graphics, but actually select "Minimum" Also allows you to see planes & helis incredibly easy from very far away. Really stupid, but it is what it is I guess.
