An idea i've had recently. Some people have scale models of aircraft. Some have 3D scanners ...

That could help, though there would still be work to do ("cut" moving/transparent parts on the 3D model, and the cockpit layout of course)

Remember to watch out for those N-gons if you aren't already, keep it tris and quads only. There are noticable ones at the ventral window, back of the wing root, cockpit window frame, and not to mention the fronts of the engines. I'm also not quite sure what the purpose of all those tris are on the side of the cockpit. Topology in general should be something you try to keep consistant throughout development and the model in general, so I suggest giving that a look when you can.

Show us how much work you did do on exteriors (windows and cockpit stuff) and also I noticed that you made a possible error on engine placement, it looks like its wires are rotated oddly, maybe it's due to screenshot placement?

cockpit is not finished yet, just the windows and the first upper turret (without gun), asap i'll finish the frontal bomber sight, the under rear gun and the side guns. later i'll do the gears and the ventral bomb bay. then the propellers and the internal stuff (cockpit and crew). At last i'll do the tail (because i'll will do 2 versions of this plane).

just having a bit of patience ^_^
