I would like to suggest an too little know reconnaissance vehicles built in germany. the TH-400

 

The TH-400 was a reconnaissance vehicles developed by Thyssen-Henschel in 1984. the armored car was loosely related to the Spähpanzer Luchs and is a part of the TH-200 family. the development of this armored car had for purpose to be exported to other country. it was initially offered to South-Africa but the South-African army decline the importation of the Th-400 in favor of the Rooikat. the TH-400 is a multi-role vehicles able to perform reconnaissance, support and tank hunter. the main armament of the tank is a 105mm L7 (probably L7A3) with thermal sleeves. a 7.62 machine gun is placed as coax secondary armament. the turret also have 4x 76mm smoke grenade launcher on his side. while the armored car wasn't mass produced, it remained in the world marked. the only TH-400 produced is currently the possession of Rheinmetall company who use it as test-bed.

 

the armor of the TH-400 is designed to only protect against small arms and medium machine gun. in addition to the protection, additional steel plate or reactive armor can be added to the TH-400 as an option for the international market. other option include a 120mm Rheinmetall smoothebore gun in the turret. while the TH-400 never saw any action, the performance, firepower and mobility of this armored car would make him a dangerous opponent. the vehicles is powered by a  Daimler-Benz OM400 series water-cooled, turbo-charged diesel engine of 435hp. it weight 24,5 tons and can reach a speed of 115km/h on road.

I think the 120mm might be a bit overkill for now. In later updates maybe, but until now I think the 120mm is too much for a scout tank, which would make it hard to balance (strongest gun in the game, bad armour and probably quite bad mobility on rough terrain). Maybe together with the Leopard 2A4 (if we ever get this). The 105 (with APFSDS) would really make a decent tank at high tiers. We just have to look out that it ends up like the Begleitpanzer.

I highly doubt we´ll get the A4. That one would be about equal to an M1A1.

I'm a little surprised no one has noticed that the specifications say it can go up to 1115 km/h. That would make it almost as fast as a Hawker Hunter.

I'm hoping that this Italian line paves the way for things like this.  Low tiers have so much variety with the vehicles and I think that why it's often more fun.  This kind of thing with the IFVs would do the same for top tiers, IMO.

Well that's the Italian tree available and the French now have something similar in their tree.  So I'll be looking for this to appear in the next patch

 

I also see the EXF Radkampfwagen 90 has been bumped too.  Fingers crossed that everyone gets a wheeled vehicle with a big gun on top.
