  • Notes:
    • I tried to fill out the tree with Italian vehicles that are not currently in-game however, I'm not that well knowledgeable with Italian designs.
    • The C13/TUA is equipped with TOW-2A/TOW-2B's.
    • Added Bulgarian vehicles (since they were part of the Axis and Gaijin intends on turning the tree more Axis-affiliated) to add some spice.
    • Used Copy and Paste to help support sections of the Italian Tree such as the 9K33 Osa-AKM.
    • The M1A2 SEPv3 is a pretty debatable addition, I only added it because Romania intends to purchase them.
      • Remember these vehicles are fluid and can be added or removed as necessary.

  • Description :
    • The modern Romanian Land Forces, first founded on the 29th of November, 1859, is the primary ground forces of the Eastern European country of Romania. The modern Romanian Army has took part during several armed conflicts over its 161 years of existence, such as during the Romanian War of Independence, World War I as part of the Allied Powers, World War II as part of the Axis Powers, the Romanian Revolution, provided security during the aftermath of the Yugoslav Wars, the War in Afghanistan, and the Iraqi War. During these conflicts, the Romanian Army received many different vehicles from nations all across Europe as well as developed some of their own indigenous derivates of modern vehicles. In 2004, Romania became an active member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, or NATO. Romania continues today, currently modernizing its military hardware to support national security as well as support future NATO missions.
    • This suggestion is for the implementation of Romanian Army equipment in a sub-tree for the German Ground Tree, Italian Ground Tree, or the U.S.S.R. Ground Tree due to the History and use of vehicles between the countries.
      • Reason for Germany: Romania, since World War II, has had strong relations with Germany, supporting the country during armed conflicts as well as having tight knit economic relations. Not only this, but Romania has used several German vehicles as well as shared many vehicles during the time of the Warsaw Pact. With the addition of future East German vehicles, it only helps this cause. Not to mention Romania continues to use German vehicles to this day.
      • Reason for U.S.S.R.: As a former member of the Warsaw Pact, Romania has used several vehicles from the former Soviet Union. Not only this, but several Romanian vehicles continue to be designed with influence from the former Soviet Union.
      • Reason for Italy: Italy and Romania also fought hand-in-hand during World War II and shared a decent amount of its military hardware with Romania. Not to mention Italy lacks vehicles throughout it's Tech Tree. Supplying it Romanian vehicles as well as possible Hungarian vehicles would allow the Italian Ground Tree to "fill out" around mid-ranks up until Rank VI.
    • Opinion:
      • The tree best suits Germany due to the fact Gaijin will be implementing East German vehicles which are primarily Soviet vehicles for the German Tree. Vehicles like the T-72M which we won't see in the U.S.S.R. tree but is expected for Germany, would be ideal to have a Romanian camouflage  added. Not only this, Romania uses vehicles like the Gepard 1A2 as well as Soviet based designs which allows players to create Romanian lineups with existing German vehicles in-game. For all the German vehicles Romania has used, they should have Romania-unique camouflages and insignias for them.
      • The only other viable option is Italy due to the fact Italy also was an axis power who shared a lot of military equipment with Romania during WWII. Another important factor is the need to fill the Italian Ground Forces Tree, especially since vehicles throughout the Ground Tree are limited.
  • The vehicles being added are primarily going to be vehicles used in active service, even in low quantity. Prototypes will try to be allocated towards event vehicles as well as premiums. As more vehicles and information is released, this sub-tree will be updated.
  • Some vehicles/future vehicles that need Romanian camouflage patterns for the German Tree:

  • Description:
    • Developed in 1943 in response to the Soviet KV-1 and T-34 tanks, the TACAM R-2 is a Tank Destroyer designed by Romania during World War II. The TACAM R-2, developed from the Panzer 35(t) or Romanian R-2 chassis, was a tank destroyer that removed the turret from the original Czech design and replaced it with an open turret housing a captured Soviet 76.2mm ZiS-3 Anti-Tank Gun. Later in the war with the introduction of the IS-2 Heavy Tanks, Romanian authorities prepared plans to up-gun the TACAM R-2 further using the 75mm Reşiţa Model 1943 anti-tank gun or the German 88mm gun. In the end, only 20 produced by 1944 however, these partook in the Budapest Offensive and the Prague Offensive.

Visual design of the M-05 Mareșal Tank Destroyer.

Spoiler
  • Description
    • The M-05 Mareșal, or Marshal is a Tank Destroyer that was developed by the Roglier Works in the Kingdom of Romania during World War II. Designed between 1942 and 1944, the Mareșal Tank Destroyer featured 9 prototypes which are based on the hull of a captured Soviet T-60 Light Tank. The main prototype that was due for serial production is the M-05 model. This model was tested against the German StuG III ausf. G which it proved superior in gun, utilizing the 75mm Reșița M1943 Gun which proved to have higher velocity, angled armor for deflecting rounds, and increasing survivability, as well in size, being more than half a meter shorter in length. These capabilities drew interest from the German high command for its steering, profile, and armament capabilities however, also rebuke, due its small size for the crew which they deemed could affect performance. The tank was slated for serial production with a few units produced however, due to the Invasion of Romania, the vehicles were seized and not used in combat.

TR-580 Main Battle Tank

TR-77-580_ftview.jpg.7f0e4b385dd83d5a221

A TR-580 Main Battle Tank.

Spoiler
  • Description
    • The TR-580, also known as Tanc Romanesc Model 580, or TR-77-580, is a main battle tank that was designed by Institute 111 of Romania in the 1970's. The TR-580, an offshoot of the Soviet T-55 Main Battle Tank, that was developed to allow Romanian manufacturers the knowledge to develop tanks indigenously. In the late-1960's, Romania decided to pursue it's own industrial capabilities of producing a main battle tank, however lacked the industrial capacity to develop a brand new main battle tank, thus it was decided to use the T-55 tank as a platform for development. The Romanian Defense Counsel decided that the vehicle must have a 100mm gun, and an engine with a minimum of 500hp. The indigenous A-308 smoothbore gun and 580hp Model V-55 12-cyl Turbo-diesel Engine were used. Due to the increase in weight and the new engine, the vehicle's hull was extended, adding an extra roadwheel for a total of 6. Instead of using the original T-55 Volna Fire-control Computer, a new fire control computer was used, created under license from Sweden, which eventually lead to the indigenous fire-control system, the Ciclop's Fire-control Computer being developed. There are multiple variants of the tank such as the TR-580M, a modernized version that includes a laser rangefinder, and the TR-580M1 which features a new turret and the Leopard 1's MTU engine. The vehicle went into production in 1979 until 1985 with around 400 tanks being produced. This vehicle was used by the Romanian Land Forces and the Iraqi Army with possible use in the Iran-Iraq War.

  • Description
    • The TR-85-800 or Tanc Românesc model 1985 cu motor de 800cp, is a Main Battle Tank in use with the country of Romania. Tracing its design from the TR-580, which itself is a development of the Soviet T-55, the TR-85-800 was designed with the focus on a new engine. Development began on 13 May 1974 when the Romanian Self-defense Counsel issued a directive to design a new medium tank that houses a 100mm gun, weighs 40 tons, and has around 500hp for the engine. At the same time however, Romanian engineers were examining a German MTU MB 838 CaM 500, 10-cylinder Diesel Engine, succeeding in reverse engineering it. Between 1974 to 1986, Romanian engineers developed the engine and transmission that would be housed in the new medium tank. The new tank was designated TR-85-800 for the new 800hp engine. This new vehicle was produced from 1986 until 1990 with over 600 vehicles being manufactured. The TR-85 is still in service with the Romanian Land Forces with some vehicles being upgraded to the TR-85M "Bizonul" or Bison.

Spoiler
  • Description
    • The TR-125 is a main battle tank developed by Romania in the 1990's. The TR-125 was developed due to the U.S.S.R. refusing to allow licensed production of the T-72M in Romania. With this setback, the National Defense Counsel authorized the study and reverse-engineering of active T-72M's to produce their own indigenous vehicle. The result of this was the TR-125 Main Battle Tank. The TR-125 features multiple similarities and upgrades over the Soviet Export T-72M. Some of these include a more reliable A555 Smoothbore Gun, an enhanced Fire Control System allowing for firing-in-motion capability, a Laser Warning Receiver System, Laser Rangefinder, and an upgraded Engine and Transmission. With the new added weight from the engine and transmission, the vehicle was elongated and an extra roadwheel was added. These upgrades were seen as a major step forward for vehicles, especially during the 1990's. However, the vehicle wasn't accepted and the Romanian Government slated some funding to be directed to the TR-85M modernization project and the TR-2000 Main Battle Tank program. Only up to 5 prototypes are believed to have been produced. The remaining prototypes, other than two vehicles on display, are held in reserve.

An MLI-84M during a military parade.

Spoiler
  • Description:
    • The MLI-84M "Jderul" (Marten) is Roman Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) which is the modernized variant of the MLI-84. In 1995, a decision was made within the Romanian Land Forces to upgrade the MLI-84 IFV to NATO standards. This included a new turret by the Israeli company Rafael, the OWS-25R unmanned turret which houses an Oerlikon KBA autocannon, a PKT machine gun, and equipped with 2x Yugoslavian Maljutka-2T ATGM's in the 9S415 launcher. However, newer upgrades removed the Maljutka-2T's and replaced them with 4x Spike-LR ATGM's significantly increasing its firepower. To house all the new weight from the turret, the vehicle received a new 396hp Caterpillar C9 Turbocharged Engine. The vehicle also received a SAILR-M Laser & RADAR Warning System to alert the crew of incoming ATGM's/guidance and launch the 81mm Smoke Grenades to defeat the incoming threat. With all this new equipment, the vehicle lost its amphibious capabilities. The MLI-84M has a crew of 2, a Driver and Gunner, and while equipped with a squad, the squad leader will act in the role of vehicle Commander. The MLI-84M, entering service in 2005, is the primary infantry fighting vehicle of the Romanian Land Forces with an estimated 180 MLI-84's being upgraded to this standard.

Spoiler
  • Description
    • The TR-85M1, also known as the Bizonul (Bison), is the newest TR-85 variant fielded by the Romanian Land Forces. In 1994, the Romanian General Staff initiated a program known as Order No. 1429 to modernize TR-85's to NATO standards. Some of these upgrades included a new elongated turret with add-on armor, updated Fire-control System, Laser/RADAR Warning System, and several other upgrades significantly increasing the tanks capabilities. The TR-85M1 is equipped with the 3rd-generation Ciclop-M Ballistics Fire-control Computer which, according to the manual, can ensure a hit percentage greater than 95% for a target under 2,000m and 75% for a target within 3,000-4,000m. This is integrated with the SAGEM MATIS Thermal Imaging System for night operations. It is also equipped with the SAILR (Sistem de Avertizare la Iluminarea Laser și Radar, laser and radar illumination warning system) which is a hybrid Laser/RADAR Warning System that can discharge the GFM-76 launchers, providing smoke coverage as well as flares to defeat incoming ATGM's. This vehicle is currently the Romanian Land Force's Primary Main Battle Tank, and as of 2017, utilizes 54 of the TR-85M1's. The modernization project is still in progress, with more to be upgraded over the next 5 years. A possibly new variant armed with a NATO compatible 120mm Smoothbore gun, with updated composite armor, electronics, power-pack, etc. is currently being studied.

I honestly think Romania has enough at low-mid-top tier that it could easily stand on its own. Air especially. I'd only want a sub-tree if the devs say "we're never going to add another country to the game ever again", type deal. Which I don't want. +0 but not -1.

Yes and no, when you get to the high rank, the best MBT they have, the TR-85M1 with its 100mm gun wouldn't hold up against most 10.0+ MBT that well. It would be comparable to the South African TTD with only a little composite armor. The TR-125 would fare okay but would be hampered by its limited ammunition and armor capabilities. When more word is released about a prospective 120mm TR-85 is released or a new MBT replacement program, the tree would stand a little better independently. Currently , there is no top rank vehicles comparable to other nations..

A lot of vehicles are prototypes/mockups/blue prints. The vehicles I made for this tree are mainly focused on vehicles they used or aspired to use without adding WWII Germany and Cold War Soviet based vehicles. I still have more to add too. A full Romanian tree would be legit. In its current form from what I can find, the best option is attached to an Eastern-European tree of some sort or as a sub-tree of a nation in-game. All subject to opinion though, we'll see what happens. Appreciate the feedback though! I'll add as much vehicles as I can. :salute:

Even if they said that I wouldn't believe them, they also said we were never going to get afterburners, guided missiles, vehicles past 1953, composite armor, and battleships.  The pattern of behavior suggests that even if Gaijin says they won't add something they probably will eventually.

There exists a TR-85M1 with a 1200 hp engine. Though we know that it exists, no pictures of it are out there yet. The engine is unidentified but I imagine its 1200 hp MTU type as proposed for the TR-2000 program.

Theres also myriad of 'TR-77' prototypes related to the TR-77-580 and prototyped for the TR-85-800 which differ in performance and visually.

I'd also like to mention that in a source (and it's a very solid one) there is a TR-125 from 1979 that appears to be a separate program from the later TR-125 which the first prototype was made in 1985. It is mentioned that a turret of that 1979 TR-125 was used for ballistics tests.

I can divulge into more Romania vehicles if anyone is interested. Theres a lot more than what people think.

Romania may replace it’s TR-85 series with, the most likely option, the Leopard 2A5 or possibly the M1 Abrams in the future. If this is done, it could push Romania into top rank for ground vehicles. Little is known if Romania intends to replace or modify the vehicles with its own electronics/fire control or utilize German/American systems. There is always the small chance Romania would try and rejuvenate its defense industry and produce its own unique MBT that is NATO compatible (the most hoped option, due to creating another unique MBT different from those in-game). Only time will tell.

On another topic, a new V-SHORAD/SHORAD system has been approved by the Defense Ministry which could further enhance Romania’s top rank ascension in-game.

I've wanted the Romanians to have a sub-tree in Italy for ages! I really hope this gets passed to the Italians, since they could really use it! I honestly think that Russia and Germany have enough vehicles and don't need a sub-tree like this, while Italy could really use it to bolster their Ground Forces lineup! Another vehicle you could mention is the R-2a, the Romanian upgraded version of the Panzer 35(t). +10000!

I still don't know why everyone keeps referring to the same crap sources when it comes to the T-72s in Romanian service. I've said it before in a different thread, Romania only had T-72s Ural, aka "the basic stuff". You can clearly see that by the fact that it is the only model with the coincidence range finder. And here is a picture of it in Romanian service:

Notice the coincidence range finder on the top right of the turret.

Would love to see a Romanian sub-tree in Italy.

I too would argue that Romania has more than enough tanks & aircrafts for a tech tree of its own. Would also help to enlarge the number of axis powers as currently we have 7 Allied powers and 3 Axis powers.

When it comes to airplanes, Romania can compete with major nations as it had a lot of IAR airplane models, there was a IAR plane for everything:

As for tanks, I found this on the internet:

The Romanian tanks are focused on a powerful gun and speed at the cost of armor, many of their best tanks being Tank Destroyers.

They have a lot of interesting vehicles out of which many are original, some are completly original, some are heavy modifications, some of them are improvisations by taking different parts from already existing tanks but it still leads to new tanks that don't exist in other countries, there is no tank in this list that is exactly the same in other countries except for 1 notable exception and a few that were never realised due to lack of resources, here is my proposal for the Romanian Tech Tree:

Because of the limited resources of the country, the Romanians found a way to combat the economically superior Soviets by focusing on Tank Destroyers. With speed, small chassis and high firepower taking the place of armor, for economic reasons. Many of the Romanians tanks are better regarded as improvised, taking different parts from different tanks to create something new, rather than creating something new from scratch. For most of their tree, the Romanian tanks can be regarded as glass cannons. Very good at penetrating enemy armor, but also very good at being penetrated. Using the small chasis and speed to their advantage.

Explained:

R-1  (Light Tank) -> Is a modified version of the Czechoslovak AH-IV tank. The armor was diminished from 15mm to 12mm and the engine from 60hp to 50hp, this reduced the weight by about 500 km leading to an increase in speed. A mechanized reconnaissance equipment was added.

R-2c  (Light Tank) -> Is a modified version of the Czechoslovak Skoda LT vz.35 tank. A different turret and hull rear were added. The "c" stands for cemented "cimentate".

Carul de Lupta R-35  (Light Tank) -> Is a modified version of the French R-35 tank. A different turret and the gun 37mm SA18.

TACAM T-60  (Tank Destroyer) -> Is a modified version of captured Soviet early T-60 light tanks. A different turret and the gun 76mm F-22 M1936 were added. There is an improved version called  TACAM T-60A  that uses the later version of T-60 which had a thicker armor and disc road wheels.

R-2a  (Light Tank) -> An improved version of the Romanian R-2c tank. A better engine, radio and thicker armor.

T-26-37  (Light Tank) - > Caputred T-26 from the Soviet Union where  the 45mm 20K gun was replaced with a 37mm Skoda A3 gun.

R-3*/T-3 N* (Medium Tank) -> Was supposed to be a modified version of the Czechoslovak Skoda T-21 tank.  This tank armed with a 47mm Skoda A9 gun  would have beed modified and become the main medium tank of the Romanian army. B ut due to failed negociations and German intervention Romania didn't buy the T-21. At first Romania didn't want to buy the Skoda T-21 as during a test between Skoda T-21 and Praga V-8-H the Praga V-8-H proved superior, then the production for Praga V-8-H was canceled, then Hungary bought rights for Skoda T-21 then Romania wanted to buy the Skoda T-21 too but Germany blocked this.  However, as a vehicle is needed for tech tree continuity the equivalent is T-3 N which is another unmodified version of a foreign tank, the German Panzerkampfwagen III Ausf N, unlike R-3, this one was actually used by the Romanian army.

R35/T-26 (Light Tank) -> Is a modified version of the French R-35 tank. A different turret and gun from the early models of Russian T-26 tanks. It was a prototype of the  Vanatorul de Care R-35  were they swapped the whole turret of a captured Soviet T-26 tanks rather than only the gun.

TACAM R-1  (Tank Destroyer) -> Is a modified version of the Romanian R-1 tank. A different turret and gun from the Soviet 45 mm AT guns.

R-4/T-4 H* (Medium Tank) -> Is a modified version of the German Pz IV H tank. A different turret and an original Romanian gun 75mm Resita M1942. The non-modified version also existed in the Romanian army under the name T-4 H
Vanatorul de Care R-35  (Light Tank) -> An improved version of the Romanian  R35/T-26  tank. The  French R-35 turret was kept due to having thicker armor  and only the more powerful  45mm 20-K  gun of the  Soviet  T-26  was added . An  extension to constrain the recoil of the new gun was added. A new mantlet was made.  A significant amount of the o riginal French-made parts, from both the original and converted R-35 tanks were replaced by Romanian-produced spares.  Better transmission and n ew  wheels designed locally to be ten times more durable were added. The Romanian-converted R-35 had significant Romanian-manufactured parts in its hull, transmission and turret.

TACAM R-2  (Tank Destroyer) -> Is a modified version of the Romanian  R-2  tank. A different turret and the guns 76mm ZiS-3, 75mm Resita M1943.

Maresal M-02 (Tank Destroyer) -> An improved version of the Romanian  Maresal M-01  tank. It has a larger but stronger hull.

Maresal M-03 (Tank Destroyer) -> An improved version of the Romanian  Maresal M-02  tank. It has an even larger and stronger hull. Welded armour plates and reinforced inner structure.

T34-85R (Medium Tank) -> Is a modified version of the Soviet  T-34  tank. A  different turret and the 85mm S-53 gun.

TACAM T-38  (Tank Destroyer) ->  Is a modified version of the German Panzerkampfwagen 38(t) Ausf. S tank. A  different turret and the guns 76mm ZiS-3, 76mm F-22 M1936.

Maresal M-04  (Tank Destroyer) ->  An improved version of the Romanian  Maresal M-03  tank. It has a lower caliber weapon, the 75mm Resita M1939 and a modified hull.

TACAM R-2-88  (Tank Destroyer) ->  An improved version of the Romanian  TACAM R-2  tank. Capable of using larger caliber guns, the 88mm KwK 36 L/56 and 88mm PaK 43 L/71

T34E-120*  (Medium Tank) ->  Is a modified version of the Soviet  T-34  tank. A  different turret and the guns 120mm Howitzer and 122mm Howitzer. The blueprint was made but the project was dropped due to Romania's inability to produce the necessary parts to handle the recoil of these large guns.

Maresal M-05  (Tank Destroyer) ->  An improved version of the Romanian  Maresal M-04  tank. The T-60 chasis was dropped in favor of a Romanian design and the suspensions were improved.

T34E-150* (Medium Tank) -> Is a modified version of the Soviet  T-34  tank. A  different turret and the guns 150mm Howitzer. The blueprint was made but the project was dropped due to Romania's inability to produce the necessary parts to handle the recoil of this large gun.
Maresal M-06 (Tank Destroyer) -> An improved version of the Romanian  Maresal M-05  tank. It required 1 more crew member to ease the job of the gunner and a new 75mm DT-UDR gun.

And this even older tech tree:

qR5VA7n.png

I'm not suggesting using these tech trees designs, they are not fit for War Thunder, but it does show that there are plenty of Romanian tanks and airplanes to choose from.

A lot of info can be found int Mark Axworthy's book "Third Axis' Fourth Ally".

Overall, I think Romania has more than enough tanks for a full-fledged Tech Tree. And even more airplanes than tanks.

You have a light then medium tanks line: R-1, R-2c, R-2a, R-3, R-4, T-34/85R, T-34E/120, T-34E/150.

You have a purely light tank line: Carul de Lupta R-35, AB Md. 1941, T-26/37mm, R-35/T-26, Vanatorul de Care R-35, Flakpanzer Maresal.

You have a heavy tank destroyer line: Maresal M-00, Maresal M-01, Maresal M-02, Maresal M-03, Maresal M-04, Maresal M-05, Maresal M-06.

And a light tank destroyer line: TACAM R-1, TACAM T-60, TACAM T-60A, TACAM R-38, TACAM R-2, TACAM R-2 Resita, TACAM R-2/88.

And this is without including captured vehicles that are basically copy-paste of other nations.

When I look at the Romanian tech tree line few things come in mind:

- Focus on huge guns, I mean really big mm.

- An improvization army, usually taking different parts from different French, Czech, German and Russian tanks and mixing them together in an unique way.

- Focus on high damage but either huge armor or great speed.

- Also a focus on good geometry for good riochet chance, especially the Maresal series.

- Except for a few models, really bad speed. I think it would be an interesting glass-cannon nation.

Both of them have more aircraft and tanks missing, than Romania has to offer in total. When you compare it to the 3 major nations, the difference is even greater.

Since the Finnish Sub-tree was added, there’s an increased chance we could see more sub-tree’s such as a Romanian Sub-tree to supplement gaps in the Italian tree. If anyone has additional ideas for the Romanian’s, please continue to post them in the comments!

I also noticed some images/links were broken, I will update this in the near future :salute:

Explanation:

Ground:

Spike equipped vehicles are not included (because I don't really know where to put them for now [until I see how they will perform in the game].

This subtree has its pros and cons:
+ it adds a fair amount of well-armored tanks (a lack of armor is a serious problem of the Italian TT);
+ a heavy tank exists for this TT (so you don't need other nations to perform daily tasks);
+ boost to AA line, including top tier SAM (SA-8);
+ very unique low tier stuff (mainly Hungarian tanks and few Romanian TDs);
+ powerful early ifvs;
+ boost to a lacking Italian top tier in terms of MBTs (TR-85M1, Leo 2A4HU and possible in the future Leo 2A7HU);
- presence of C&P (German Panther and Tiger, slightly different but still should be considered C&P Hungarian Leos, Romanian SA-8[9K33]);
- presence of modernized Soviet stuff [can be a problem for some people].

Planes:

There can be more planes but I tried to include only ones in which I'm sure (there is enough info and photos imo).

Also as both Hungary and Romania had a lot of German and Soviet (+ some other like Polish and Czech) planes in inventory, so some of them can be copypasted there (especially in the premium section).

Hungarian and Romanian modernizations of Italian planes (MAVAG Heja II and JRS-79 variants) are placed within folders with respective Italian planes.

The subtree is mainly represented by Romanian stuff as there isn't much of unique Hungarian planes unfortunately.

So pros and cons:
+ the addition of CAS capable planes to the regular TT (IAR-81, IAR 99, IAR 93, Me 210);
+ the presence of jet bomber if we include Romanian H-5 (which can make the grind of rank V-VI jets way easier);
+ powerful jet dogfighters (including unique Romanian modernizations of MiG-21 and MiG-29);
+ a large pool of possible additions (especially for the premium branch);
- presence of C&P (mainly Soviet);
- at high tier a mix of Western and Eastern technologies can be negative for some people;
- most of planes are mainly modernizations rather than completely unique planes (P11f and P23E are Romanian variants of licensed built Polish planes, Me 210Ca-1 are Hungarian variants of the German Me 210, Romanian Bf 109 Ga-6 is a slightly different variant of the German G-6 and etc);

Helies :

Adding a small branch of IAR helicopters + 1 Hungarian squadron Mi-24V upgraded in 2017 (differs from the original one by the presence of NVD)

Edit: Air TT updated:
Added WM-21 at the start of the line (should be enough for 1.0);
Romanian PZL variants are now in the folder;
Added export variant of Ju86K-2 unique to Hungary;
all planes of IAR-80/81 family are now placed at rank 2;
Romanian Bf-109Ga-6 moved to rank 3 (though not necessary change);
Added Fw 190F-8 which both Hungary and Romania (captured) used (under Hungarian flag in the tree);
Added B-33 - Czechoslovakian licensed-built IL-10 (1946) [should be identical, but maybe with some minor differences] used by both Hungary and Romania postwar;
MiG-23MF changed to MiG-23UB, it will have worse AAMs (only R-3S and R-13M), but can be placed at lower BR and be unique to this TT, used by both Hungary and Romania.

I made one (only missing vessels)

Explanation:

Ground:

Spike equipped vehicles are not included (because I don't really know where to put them for now [until I see how they will perform in the game].

This subtree has its pros and cons:
+ it adds a fair amount of well-armored tanks (a lack of armor is a serious problem of the Italian TT);
+ a heavy tank exists for this TT (so you don't need other nations to perform daily tasks);
+ boost to AA line, including top tier SAM (SA-8);
+ very unique low tier stuff (mainly Hungarian tanks and few Romanian TDs);
+ powerful early ifvs;
+ boost to a lacking Italian top tier in terms of MBTs (TR-85M1, Leo 2A4HU and possible in the future Leo 2A7HU);
- presence of C&P (German Panther and Tiger, slightly different but still should be considered C&P Hungarian Leos, Romanian SA-8[9K33]);

+ the addition of CAS capable planes to the regular TT (IAR-81, IAR 99, IAR 93, Me 210);
+ the presence of jet bomber if we include Romanian H-5 (which can make the grind of rank V-VI jets way easier);
+ powerful jet dogfighters (including unique Romanian modernizations of MiG-21 and MiG-29);
+ a large pool of possible additions (especially for the premium branch);
- presence of C&P (mainly Soviet);
- at high tier a mix of Western and Eastern technologies can be negative for some people;
- most of planes are mainly modernizations rather than completely unique planes (P11f and P23E are Romanian variants of licensed built Polish planes, Me 210Ca-1 are Hungarian variants of the German Me 210, Romanian Bf 109 Ga-6 is a slightly different variant of the German G-6 and etc);

I actually have a suggestion for a Romanian Coastal forces sub-tree! If Romania is added to Italy, I'd really like it to be added too since Italy currently has the weakest navy.

Yeah, I saw) I was going to insert some Hungarian river gunboats, but the information is quite hard to find. Also about bluewater TT, I am not sure if we can include Austro-Hungarian vessels, like SMS Tegetthoff for example.

Possibly, since they are part of Hungarian history. What Hungarian coastal vessels did you have?
