There were two versions of this plane planned and it was planned as a recon plane/heavy night fighter. One with the fuselage of the He-219 and one with that of the Ju-288. Both were supposed to carry 2 x MG151/20 facing forward. One of them should have had 2 x MG151/20 facing backward in a fixed position. And the other should have 2 x MG131 facing backward in a turret. Two prototypes were built, but the project was cancelled when they were destroyed in an air raid.
