I support ALL* the variants of this vehicle being added for Germany, except the Aussie version (LAND 400)* which should go in the British line to replace the warrior.  There are at least four Boxer variants with 30mm+ turrets and Britain, having rejoined the program as a full partner and slated to become the largest operator of the vehicle amongst them all with it's own separate production lines could use just one to have a wheeled IFV for it's upper ranks.

Many might remember the IFV Boxer as just a wheeled APC, like many others and thus was flying under the radar for quite some time. However in recent years, thanks due to its modularity, it has developed into a fiercesome combat platform.

Boxer "NEOM 120mm" will provide you will all kinds of 120mm mortar rounds (About 1.5-2kg explosive filler), both indirect and direct fire while on the move.

Now you might think that a 120mm mortar might be kinda meh, as 2kg TNT wont do all that much, so how about this:

Boxer "RCH 155mm" never had a light vehicle packed a bigger punch. This boxer has a stabilized, yes you heard that right 155mm unmanned autoloading turret, for both direct and indirect fire on the move.

There are many more variants planned, such as the Boxer MLRS capable of quickly delivering 270mm rockets, or the many support variants.

I would prefer the one offered to the Brazilian army, equipped with a COM 3105 turret and a 105mm/L53 cannon, which is still under development.

Such a versatile platform. Giving Germany the Boxer 105mm, the Skyranger (30 and/or 35), and an IFV version such as the Boxer IFV-RCT30 (or CRV) and/or Vilkas would really help create diversity within the tree. 

I’m not sure if I missed it, is Germany planning on accepting/testing Boxer IFV-RCT30 (or equivalent) and any of the Skyrangers for its armed forces?

Germany is planning on replacing the Wiesel with a "Schwerer Waffenträger Boxer" either with Puma (so the RCT30) or Lance turret (like Australia is procuring), both with two MELLS mounted. I think they are preferring the Lance turret (or have even already decided on that) but not entirely sure.

 

Havent seen anything definitive on Skyranger, it seems they are in consideration for the NNbS program, but thats still some way in the future. But there arent many alternatives for the requirements so they do seem likely

Goal is the start of delivery in 2025.

First vehicles for testing are expected to be delivered this year so implementation of the vehicle in game can be done still this year in theory and 128 in total till 2026.

The Boxer IFV with RCT30 is the favored replacement for parts of the Marders together with the puma. Testing is expected to be at the end of this year. Also KMW has shown it with their new drone detection system.

Also as a general note, the Boxer is expected to be used as the next launcher for IRIST sls becoming a replacement for the Roland systems.
