Would that even matter? It is a german developed vehicle (maybe produced as well), and even if exported would be the same as the challenger 2e as well wouldnt it be?

The missiles that it’s capable of firing are basically all MANPADs and RM is looking to integrate the next gen MANPADs on it. So a range of around 10km at least it to be expected if not more. I wouldn’t really look at the Starstreak because the BW hasn’t really shown interest in the system. Withe the IRIST sls it would be a good pair.

IRIS-T SLS is far too large for the Skyranger. Its over 6 times heavier than Starstreak or Stinger as well as being more than twice as long.

Germany already has the Gepard 1A2 with Stinger, so a second Stinger carrier wouldnt make much sense. The new Skyknight is still too new with too few information available. Starstreak is really the only missile that would make sense

So the Skyknight isn’t even integrated and only a theoretical option for the Skyranger. The Skyranger can carry basically all Manpads like Starstreak, Stingers and RBS 70 NG. With the RBS 70 NG beginning the currently the most likely option with its range of 9km, with it being more likely that the Skyranger in service being equipped with an even more long range missile. But even if it is only implemented with the RBS 70 NG there is still the option for the IRIST sls with its 12km range and up to an altitude of 8km.

+1, it seems perfectly fit for 10.0~10.3 with Starstreak.

btw, Starstreak flatform can uses LMM VT-Fused Missile. If you don't like the Starstreak missile, I think it could be an alternative.

of course it is, but the missile's performance is still veiled, and much has not been disclosed.
therefore if you want this equipment to be added quickly, LMM would be the easiest alternative.

Basically a better, faster, wheeled OTOMATIC with Starstreaks. Would be an excellent tip-top tier SPAA, competing strongly with the ADATS and even the Pantsir

Unfortunately It's nowhere near as strong as the Pantsir, it's more comparable to the Tunguska in terms of functionality and performance
