The first image actually contains a second possible Russian ATGM vehicle, the BRDM-2. There are a couple of launcher options for it:

Lol, a friend of mine and me were actually discussing just this Shturm-S and the BRDM like 2 days ago and yesterday he was asking me if I have already made a suggestion post. Then I see yours today. Great minds think alike. :D

I completely, totally and utterly support this.

Not just because WT is getting an ATGM from the 80's, but only one nation, but because USSR needs a mass-produced ATGM vehicle with good mobility instead of a failed project with poor mobility. ;-) And what can be more mass-produced than MT-LB and BRDMs....

I also see that your suggestion for the daddy of Sprut has been approved. Nice! :D

The devs are obviously seeing that they have put themselves into a corner with Leo 1A3 and Jaguar and that either they will have to start developing light tanks or finally give in and do composites. Heck, even if they start doing light tanks it's only a stop-gap measure, composite is just a matter of time, probably by next Spring.

So, here is my support and hopefully this idea gets the okay from mods fast!

685 was the father of the BMP-3. The father of the Sprut-SD was 934. :)

Nice...Because in your suggestion is no data about water speed and his amphibious capabilities.

It would also be great if Gaijin finally gave swimming tanks the ability to swim in reverse.... Get into a tight-spot or a corner and you can either J-out or wait for the mission to end or for someone to find you and kill you cause you can't simply reverse.

The only vehicles with a reverse gear on water are just a few planes... Maybe. So far the M551 and LVT might hold some reverse capacity due to the tracks being used but the PT-76 will lack that ability. No reverse pumps. This I am not sure how it operates by water... But if it uses its tracks to "swim" it might be able to reverse slowly.

It uses its tracks to propel itself in the water.
