Chudo_ 700 Report post Posted February 16, 2017 Hello, I just encountered a very ovbvious cheater in tank SB battles (on my own team, this is not typical "xxxxxxxx" case), and I would like to report him using the replay system in that particular battle , but he uses Join in Progress therefore the doesn't show up in the teams list. As I've checked his other matches he is not using (possible) cheats every time, so this is pretty important. How could this be solved? Thanks, I can't stand cheating. Being extremely lucky in that perticular match Couldnt we get a ban for those wasting your time and ruining it for the people doing rather well. Giving them their own sandbox to develop hacks is insane in my opinion. The current Gaijin-way simply shows the loyal players that their cries are being heard and it shows the would-be cheaters to simply don't start. Seeing how antivirus and antimalware programs have defaced the word "heuristic" in the past 10 years, I have little faith in algorithms deciding on cheats. I've seen a lot of debug info while being administrator on another game and in my experience all of the debug info is useless without a recorded video or replay-file. So I have some basic yes&no questions about this, which are hopefully not a problem to ask. 1) Logitech Gaming Panel is a whitelisted 3rd part app, I may hope? I'm asking that as the program has a bad habit of throwing hooks into other active applications and simply masking the path of your executable isn't going to fool Logitech Gaming Panel in adminmode (as it uses PID then). 2) I don't use overwolf because I have 2 monitors but that app is also doing some overlaying, which could be seen as cheats in many other games I've seen. 3) a. Why is there no application available to help us give more debug info / patterns / personal feedback? b. How about an option in game-options to persistently request to save or delete the current replay post-battle? This would help a lot of players to make less mistakes with that. Scarper 45,517 Report post Posted March 20, 2017 Since January, an additional 568 users have been permanently banned for using third-party modifications in violation of the user agreement - use of prohibited modifications. (EULA). Our recent introduction of the system of reports based on replays has allowed you to not only report suspicious activity but also your participation has significantly improved the modification detection algorithm. This algorithm is based on a machine learning system which allows us to detect almost all players who use forbidden modifications (even if they had not yet been reported). The specific patterns that we use are based on the difference in behaviour between normal players (using real visibility from the client) and a player who also has server-side information on his monitor (this information contains more data). We have implemented this algorithm in a very conservative way in order to avoid false positives. Suspicious activity is also checked by our employees after it has been detected by the program. So I have some basic yes&no questions about this, which are hopefully not a problem to ask. 1) Logitech Gaming Panel is a whitelisted 3rd part app, I may hope? I'm asking that as the program has a bad habit of throwing hooks into other active applications and simply masking the path of your executable isn't going to fool Logitech Gaming Panel in adminmode (as it uses PID then). 2) I don't use overwolf because I have 2 monitors but that app is also doing some overlaying, which could be seen as cheats in many other games I've seen. 3) a. Why is there no application available to help us give more debug info / patterns / personal feedback? b. How about an option in game-options to persistently request to save or delete the current replay post-battle? This would help a lot of players to make less mistakes with that. There is no need to record and post replays with gameplay of players you suspect for using 3rd party apps. We will appreciate if you report them via server replay functionality on our main website.
