Hello, I'm going to suggest adding Czechoslovakia as a new nation to the game, and here is Czechoslovak Ground Forces Tech Tree:

Czechoslovakia is known as a major tank exporter before WW2, having many unique light and medium tanks of that time. A little gap for WW2 period (rank 3) as Czechoslovakia was occupied and supported by Allies. After the WW2 Czechoslovakia was a Warsaw Pact member.

 

In 1993 Czechoslovakia became two separate countries - Czech and Slovakia, and their vehicles are here in the tree as well. Some of them were in service of both countries or were development in joint.

 

Now I will give a little review on each line.

Line 1 - is about light tanks which lead to BMP-1 modern modifications with new turrets and advanced ATGM armament.

Line 2 - Skoda tanks and then medium tanks. In 1930s Skoda and CKD (Praga) factories were fighting who produces a better tank for export, and there were so many of them as I had to make them in separate branches. Then there are medium tanks from the Allies, and after them goes T-34/85 which was produced under license and had several differences from the Soviet one, for example, better armor quality. Its successors are T-54 and T-55 modifications - some of them even got ATGM on turret. Two modern T-72 Czech modernizations conclude this medium tank line.

Line 3 - SPAAG line full of new interesting vehicles. The main difference from other SPAAG lines in the game is that this one starts with a guntruck with a 40 mm AA gun Z-1 on rank 1, but with manual loading, making it more as a tank hunter. 

Line 4 - CKD (Praga) tanks that end with T-40/75, Pz. IV in Czechoslovak service. But after that we get wheeled monsters like twin-gun Jarmila II and 8x8 OT-64 with ATGM.

Line 5 - SPGs. They might look a little boring but even the Czechoslovak StuG was not exactly the same - it got another improved gun shield. Aside from license-produced SD-100 there are many special local-built SPGs like Tatra OT-810D - halftrack-based tank hunter! Dana wheeled howitzer goes next, and self-propelled mortar with some ATGM on board finished the line.

 

I tried to find any aircraft tech trees for Czechoslovakia but there were not any. I had a look at Czechoslovak aircraft lists and it looks like an aircraft tree may be pretty real! 

 

Now I would like to add some words about my tech tree.

At first, I tried avoiding too many copies - and that is why not all the Czechoslovak tanks might be here (for example, there were also Sherman V and M5A1 Stuart).

All the BRs are approximate (or can be totally wrong), and were set as for arcade mode.

All the shown premium tanks can be implemented as available for purchase for Lions, pack specials or any others.

I expect Skoda S.U. and LT vz. 34 to be the Reserve tanks.

This SPAAG was developed and a prototype was built in 1930s. 40 mm anti-aircraft gun Z-1 with manual loading (making about 20 rounds per minutes) was installed on unspecified Tatra truck. Needless to say such gun was not taken into service because shooting planes with single shots would be almost impossible. But such SPAAG could be used against tanks of that time well enough.

This tank is a project of mounting an existing gun (D-10T) on an existing tank (T-34/85), so it might work as a premium I guess. If no - the tree can go without this vehicle.

If this tree started at tier 1 and stopped at tier 2, I'd say yes. There are lots of native designs that are interesting.  

 

As soon as you hit tier three it's c&p stuff.  You've got Brit, German, Russian and American tanks in there so match making will suffer for someone in every match. I dislike that these minor nations are being used for 'fantasy line ups' where people can pluck tanks from all over and stick them together because the actual nation produced nothing of their own.  So I voted no.

 

And most of your photo links are broken.

I love Czechoslovakian tanks and i hope we one day will see them ingame.

 

But as i stated before with Eastern european nations. I will prefer a International Eastern Europe tree though.

For me this looks enough to me to be an independent tree. It has a good amount of vehicles per tier. Looks like a lot of fun in the early tiers.

Can I suggest you to add the Turán spg ( 2 prototype got built in 1948 and entered service in 1949 as training vehicles, both got scrapped at the end of the '50s ) as a low tier premium TD to the Czechslovak TT? That way we could have a low tier ( T2 maybe? ) derp gun in this tree.

Yes, rank 3 does not look well from this side. If we take onlt Czechslovakia-production vehicles there, we get only Skoda T-15, T-34/85 R-10, ST-I, SD 75/40N and Tiger I A 18. 5 vehicles at best, but in the game we have to have at least 6 vehicles for rank 3. But it is possible to reduce quantity of the import tanks. Thank you for your detailed feedback anyway!

 

Oh, and you usually should reload the page (maybe even twice) to make all the pictures loaded. This happens because they all are big and browser can not load everything from the first time.

This I like very much especially the T-72M4 CZ and Scarab. It’ll take ages to grind for those tanks if a Czechoslovakian tree becomes a reality but no harm in dreaming right?

I made something similar about month or so ago, Its as much original as possible and with many things that cant be seen in the game, yes some of the vehicles that could be there arent there as I didnt want it to be overly long.

Tree looks awesome and I would love to see it in the game. I'd like to make a couple of personal suggestions for 2 varients of the OT-64 SKOT. The OT-64A with the ATGM launchers and the OT-64 Cobra, a 30mm-equipped model that did not enter production.

Currently Czechoslovak ground forces tech tree has grown up to more than 80 vehicles in total! This is even more than British GF tech tree has.

I do have a question @pikpikker, would you ever consider doing accompanying air trees? It's a stretch, but I feel like you could cobble something together, for this tree. If it's too much for you, then that's fine, I'm not too awfully versed with making a tech tree myself.

As I said once, I literally know nothing about planes or ships, unfortunately. 

It took me several years to make my own collection of tanks from all over the world and their overall knowledge (and practicing of building different tech trees), so even if I start learning air forces as well, it would took too much time anyway.
