I just now realized DM-12 round on Leopard 1 and 1A1A1 entered service in 1981, So it's not like this thing is "too modern"

The rangefinder is in game from a while now, both Optic and Laser (Chieftain have a laser one), but not realistic for balance reasons.

the composite pack was introduced with the 1A4 and is still used on our Marder 1A5 in the Bundeswehr. the marder however is planned to exit service in the next few years to be replaced by the Schützenpanzer Puma

1972, IIRC. 1981 was the DM-12 MP.

I know that's the year more or less for the 120mm l/44 DM-12 as well but what I was reading said for both guns 105 and 120, I guess it was wrong I'll have to find it again.

+1 Sure but why A3 model? Its from 80s. Why not regular A1 model from 70 ? Would fit perfectly into german rank V 8.0 BR.

because the normal A1 has only the 20mm. the A3 received the Milan ATGM

raketenjagdpanzer 1, raketenjagdpanzer 2, Jaguar 1, Jaguar 2 Germany can have 4 dedicated ATGM carriers. Why do you need another one ? 20mm only is fine, soon rank V will be full of lightly armoured IFV, light tanks, other ATGMs,armoured cars, SPAAGS. Penetration of that 20 mm cannon will be just fine to deal with soft targets and you just want to make another tank destroyer out of it. It suppose to be support vehicle to cap points deal with light armour etc.
