  We have been working on finding a proper solution for implementation of Turkish Tech Tree to War Thunder and now with the addition of Israeli Tech Tree Gaijin gave us best possible way to work on. After the initial release of Israeli TT, I have started working on my own project but it was rather sloppy and nowhere near of being a proper tech tree. After sometime finally found people who also were working on their own, and with our collective efforts here we are now presenting first refined version of our Turkish Tech Tree Project, lo and behold:

GTTT-.png.04fe38ef4ff6a077e395cfb0930329

Description

  The Turkish Tech Tree consists of 5 research branches just like any other tech tree in the game. We have focused on including in-service vehicles to Research Section as much as we can but to fill the gaps we took the liberty of adding prototypes, demonstrators, test-bed and some one-off vehicles so it safe to say the tech tree is mixture of in-service (or ex-service) vehicles and prototypes. Of course we reserved most of the prototypes/one-off vehicles to Premium Section, tried our best to not hinder the research section from any unique or interesting vehicles. Vehicles within the tree consists of combination of unique, modified or outright copy-paste vehicles, we do now that and uniqueness might be relative term, so please do not start any heat about this matter.

  Currently the Premium Section of the Tech Tree has four branches (its not like the number of branches are important), but in this version vehicles within fourth branches will not be revealed as we are still trying to work on them, we got some unique ideas about those vehicles and will be related one finalised.

  For the time being, tech tree starts from Rank IV, much like Israeli counterpart, and has vehicles all the way down to the Rank VII and there are plans to move some vehicles up to Rank VIII once Gaijin introduces Rank VIII to Ground Forces. You should note that, tech tree is not finalised yet, some vehicles might be added, removed or moved within tech tree. Also more important note, take the BR arrangement of the vehicles with a grain (maybe with a pack ? lol) of salt since some of those vehicles are pretty modern machines and their specifications are classified (do not worry I'm not willing to leak any documents I swear) or do not have proper counterparts to decide fitting BR. You are very welcomed to states your opinion about BRs of vehicles as well as overall Tech Tree.

The Tech Tree

  As I've stated, tech tree consists of two main sections; Research and Premium (just like any other conventional trees), I'll provide photographs of vehicles, maybe a brief info and relevant suggestions links if they are exists.

  FNSS' Pars 4x4 platform with ARCT ATGM system. Pars 4x4 platform was chosen for Turkish Army's STA (Weapon Carrier Vehicle) Tender alongside FNSS' Kaplan platform. Currently in service. Problem with this vehicle, its top missile would be OMTAS ATGM which is a fire-and-forget missile. Currently in War Thunder there is only one example of such missile on a helicopter. I'm not sure how it would fare on a ground vehicle, considering slow speed of L-UMTAS currently in game, it might not be that overpowered. Considering more and more tanks with APS getting added, this could find its way to tech tree. Another option would be limiting this vehicle with Kornet-E missiles.

TMLS has ability to carry and fire Cirit, OMTAS, UMTAS and L-UMTAS missiles in different configuration. System could be configured to carry 8x Cirit Missile, 4x Cirit & 2x OMTAS/L-UMTAS/UMTAS or 4 OMTAS/L-UMTAS/UMTAS. This vehicle also has same problem with ARCT platforms, fire-and-forget missiles. Solution is similar to above, Gaijin simply could lock fire-and-forget missile and allow system to be configured with only Cirit and L-UMTAS missiles. Currently in service.

Fourth Branch

WORK-IN-PROGRESS

Future Prospects

  Current version of the Tech Tree is ver much complete but there are some other vehicle which could be included into the tree. There are few ongoing modernisation projects (TİYKs) which I've included in the tree without much information. I'll be updating those vehicles once they are revealed. There is one interesting idea I'm still trying to figure out about Fourth Branch of Premium Section and hopefully reveal it pretty soon once I manage to finalise it.

                                                                                                    Thunder in the Sky, Tanker on the Ground

System could be configured to carry 8x Cirit Missile, 4x Cirit & 2x OMTAS/L-UMTAS/UMTAS or 4 OMTAS/L-UMTAS/UMTAS. This vehicle also has same problem with ARCT platforms, fire-and-forget missiles.   A little more insight for this vehicle; M8 was showcased in IDEF'97 to Army Officials, and it attracted great interest. In 21 October 1997, M8 demonstrated live firing test in Artillery and Missile School Command, Polatlı. After successful firing tests M8 was brought to demonstrate its firepower yet again to military higher ups in Armored Troops School and Training Center Command. M8 was tested for the last time in Şereflikoçhisar Land Forces Tank Shooting Range, again satisfied the army officials.

  After promising tests and demonstrations, FNSS, then FMC-Nurol, and UDLP reach to an agreement for licences production of M8. Vehicle remained in Nurol plants for some time then sent to Thailand for for demonstrations.

It was something I had been dreaming of for a long time. If even the Israel tree has been added to the game, why shouldn't our tree be added as well. Yes, maybe it won't be any different from other trees to a certain level, but when you get through that stage, oh man, it's nice even to imagine.I would like to add that Turkey is also a good country in terms of helicopter use, maybe helicopters can also be added [for example: Cyprus peacekeeping operation]. Hello, I'm going to suggest adding Turkey as a new combined nation to the game, and here is Turkish Ground Forces Tech Tree:

https://pikpikker.neocities.org/tur_wt.html

This is my own site where you can enlarge every picture and click any tank to read about it!

The tree as a picture:

Turkish tech tree might be considered weird, and it is indeed, but Turkey has a wide range of modern military machines to present us! There are different MBTs (including the famous Turkish Altay MBT), tank destroyers and SPAAGs which do not have any analogues. Though Turkey was neutral during WW2 (if we have to choose, then Turkey is a member of Allies), there are enough tanks to fill all the ranks.

Now I will give a little review on each line.

Line 1 - light tanks. Here we have a line mostly filled with light tanks. These machines were shown on exhibitions, so they have all the modern equipment to destroy the enemy. Also there are self-propelled howitzers.

Line 2 - medium tanks. Most of the tanks are just modifications, but closer to the end they are more and more unique - and Altay MBT as the great final.

Line 3 - tank destroyers. You are in the right place if you are looking for some high-tech way to demolish your enemy because there is a range of deadly missiles on compact platforms.

Line 4 - SPAAGs. Like all of my SPAAG branches, this one is full of indigenous anti-air vehicles as well (not counting Duster). The highlight of this branch is ACV-30 Korkut - modern double 35 mm anti-air gun to clear the skies.

Some words about my tech tree.

At first, I tried avoiding too many copies - and that is why not all the Turkish tanks might be here (for example, I avoided some import tanks like non-modernized M60).

All the BRs are approximate (or can be totally wrong), and were set as for arcade mode.

All the shown premium tanks can be implemented as available for purchase for Lions, pack specials or any others.

I expect BA-6 and Renault R35 to be the Reserve tanks.

Also there are only 5 tanks on rank 2 and 3, but it does not go against the game system of research: China has only 5 necessary vehicles to research on rank 2, and same for Italy on rank 3.

Vehicle count:

Rank 1: 8 (for research) + 1 (premiums)

Rank 2: 5

Rank 3: 5

Rank 4: 6 + 2

Rank 5: 7 + 3

Rank 6: 10 + 2

Rank 7: 11

Total: 60 vehicles (52 without premiums)

Here is the vehicle list with all the tank pictures, but only some of them has a description. You can access decent sources for all other tanks from my site (I will also answer all the questions regarding my tree if you have any!).

  I don't wanna sound rude but can you even read ? I literally said it is just the MBT LINES, it takes a long time to finalize a TT, you can be sure I already have a quite large list of vehicles.

Whatever, I have managed to made cluster of Light Vehicles. I didn't made proper line just mini lines, to show potential vehicles so be easy on me this one;

Lightwip1.png.f2e6a85bf5dd6af722a88ce2ab

  There's total of 17 vehicle including premiums and event vehicles. First Line is wheeled tank destroyers and fire support vehicles and consists of 4 vehicles (lul), Second Line is auto-canon armed wheeled vehicles and consists of 5 vehicles (again lul), Third Line is so called "Light Tanks" and consists of just 3 vehicles. Premium Side offers nothing different from research tree, they're generally redundant vehicles to add as they are quite similar to their TT counterparts. Arma platform dominates lines, there is one platform I deliberately left outside of the tree since it offer nothing really different and that platform is Pars III/IV. Still will be providing info about them. Every vehicle in this tree is indigenous designs of Turkish companies (maybe except Rabdan which was based on Arma 8x8 and modified to meet the requirements).

First Line, Wheeled Tank Destroyer/Fire Support Vehicles;

  • Akrep IId 4x4, Armed with 90mm Gun on Cockerill CSE 90LP Turret
  • Arma 6x6, Armed with 90mm on either Cockerill CSE 90LP or LCTS 90MP Turret
  • Arma 8x8 “Rabdan”, Armed with 100mm and 30mm Guns of BMP-3 on 2K23 Turret
  • Arma 8x8, Armed with 105mm Gun on Cockerill 3105 Turret

Second Line, Auto-Canon Armed Wheeled Vehicles;

  • Akrep IId 4x4, Armed with 25mm Auto-Cannon
  • Akrep IId 4x4, Armed with 30mm Auto-Cannon
  • Arma 8x8, Armed with 25mm Auto-Cannon on Bozok-25 Turret
  • Arma 8x8, Armed with 30mm Auto-Cannon with L-UMTAS ATGM on Mızrak-30 Turret
  • Arma 8x8, Armed with 35mm Auto-Cannon, KORKUT Weapon System, has Hard-Kill APS

Third Line, Light "Tanks";

  • ACV-19, Armed with 90mm Gun on Cockerill CSE 90LP Turret
  • ACV-19, Armed with 100mm and 30mm Guns of BMP-3 on 2K23 Turret
  • Tulpar Light Tank, Armed with 105mm Gun on Cockerill 3105 Turret

Premiums;

  • Cobra II 4x4, Armed with 25mm Auto-Cannon on Bozok-25 Turret
  • Arma 6x6, Armed with 25mm Auto-Cannon on Bozok-25 Turret
  • Pars III/IV, Armed with 35mm Auto-Cannon on TEBER-35 Turret
  • Kaplan MMWT, aka Harimau, Armed with 105mm Gun on Cockerill 3105 Turret
  • Altuğ 8x8, Armed with 35mm KORKUT Weapon System, as Hard-Kill APS

Vehicles that are not Present on TT;

  • Pars III/IV 6x6, Armed with 25mm on SABER-25 Turret
  • Pars III/IV 8x8, Armed with 25mm on SABER-25 Turret
  • Pars III/IV 8x8, Armed with 30mm on TEBER-30 Turret

there is no way to put turkey in italy as sub TT. USA or even israel is more suitable(or maybe even germany, but the best is USA right now)

azerbaijan dont have enough "unique" vehicles for a TT, but it has place in soviets or in a combined TT(or just put azeri camos in soviet vehicles, lol. i dont know no azeri vehicles that produced or designed by themself at all). also azerbaijan is literally an ex-soviet, which mean turkey and azerbaijan has no similarities for military.

I really don't see what you mean Italy already has 3 Turkish vehicles. Usa is a huge TT and same with Germany. And Israel just sucks. you probably said this because you have premiums in America so you could grind faster. And I believe Italy has the most joint programs with turkey.

  Neither Italy or US has any claims on Turkish vehicles whatsoever, Israel is the only tech tree slightly makes sense due to historical defence industry ties, even then it is only one tank. US-made vehicles are deployed by pretty much every NATO allied nations, it does not make them viable.

  Italian claims are even weaker than US ones, Italy got T129 in conclusion they should receive every other Turkish vehicle, Is that really your argument ?

  Today first two units of Altay with Korean powepack delivered to Turkish Armed Forces. Interestingly, there was third Altay present at the far back, it is probably the test bed for BMC Power's BATU engine. Total number of Altay in latest configuration is currently at least 4, but number could be as high as 6 if the two delivered machines are modernised Otokar prototypes. If so, there would be two modernised Otokar prototypes, and four BMC prototypes.

Here you can see them:

VS8H2zP.png

  There is also another Altay in production line with desert camouflage:

FrdWXAy.png

  Another angle with two other Altay in production line:

UofdpS0.png

  As of today, there is at least 4 Altay in latest configuration; 1 in Desert Camouflage and 3 in Green/Woodland Camouflage. We do not know if above 2 prototypes in green camouflage are different from the ones delivered to TAF or not, so we can conclude the number is at least 4. I believe left on is fitted with BATU engine, but cannot say for sure.

  From different angle, this one is fitted with BATU, on its side desert camouflaged Altay sits:

DjR7cPG.png

  You can read "BMC Power" on the side of the engine:

  BATU is fitted to engine bay:

We have no ties to Israel besides M60T and F-4E Terminatör.

We have no Azerbaijani vehicles in Turkish tree as a sub-tree, but saying "turkey and azerbaijan has no similarities for military" does not make sense at all. Azerbaijan uses Turkish combat drones such as TB2, AKINCI and will probably expand to TB3 and KIZILELMA, TAI also modernized Azerbaijani Su-25 aircraft to use Turkish air to ground armament.

Mass production is not required for a vehicle to be implemented, if we consider the amount of imaginary vehicles that didn't even pass planning stage in game.

An incomplete Turkish concept tree with an Indonesian sub-tree. I did this as a way to shore up some of Turkey's gaps. Just wanted some friendly opinion/feedback on it because Turkey and Indonesia are strategic partners whose defense industry routinely cooperates. FNSS and PT Pindad and other companies sometimes team up for projects with there most famous being the Harimau Hitam MT a.k.a. Kaplan MT. Both nations also have some cross overs of vehicles in use, just modified. So, why not try them together and see what happens since sub-tree's are all the rage nowadays. A unique spin. Indonesian vehicles marked with the letters "RI". There are plenty of other Turkish/Indonesian vehicles that could be added such as more Altay variants or a Pindad Badak with the Skyranger turret. Again, just an idea that's far from complete, that's it. Just a goofy experiment to try and think outside the box The only thing I'm hurting on is a Rank IV medium tank. I've looked between the two nations trying to find maybe an M4A2/A3 (76), or anything but so far no luck.
