40mm Bofors APFSDS hits around 100mm at 60 degrees penetration.

 

Actually the penetration is around 170mm for APFSDS with the newer shell, 140mm for the older shells.

This patch should be germany, italy and japan only give them the proper vehicles they need and the type of vehicles they didn't receive.

Well, probably because the Swedish tech tree might have a bit low number of prop planes if they had only their own Air Force planes there. Personally I would had pereffed to see them under German tree. Since that would had made at least sense historically wise.

 

Also intersting to see what planes they are planning to add there under the Finnish colors. I mean, their Air Force used quite a wide selection of lend lease and captured planes. And not only for testing, but also for combat missions. I mean, a Finnish captured LaGG-3 shot down Soviet LaGG-3 for example.

Some of the US planes Finland used was upgunned and modified somewhat unlike the other planes. That's makes them more unique and better candidates to be added imo. But yeah Sweden doesn't strictly need more props. Some extra 5.0+ props wouldn't hurt (though I'm not sure how many of those Finland could provide), but other than that the tree can field enough props on its own.

With this HEATFS nerfs on NATO 120mm i hope some APFSDS ammo will become stock as well in 1.95.

We better get 2-3 jets minimum next update to compensate for two years of having the worst jets (because of stupid BR choices, because they’re rushed or because the logical counterparts are simply not added). Hopefully Mirage IIIE, IIIC and Mystère IV because they are the most needed, and I hope we’ll be surprised with other models although I’m not counting on it.

And most French APFSDS are tier IV upgrades while being the most expensive ones

Yeah, 170mm at 0 degrees sounds about right according to longrods. I think the APFSDS figures I used were for the newer ammunition.

 

I guess the older ammunition would have achieved something like 80mm at 60 degrees.

Of course the F4 was one update old and uk already got his arient wonder why it didn't worked this way for french F100 while their airforce was in the need since 10 months! Terrible job from gaijin as usual. Not encouraging to invest any money n this non serious work and heavely biased toward france.

 

But hey you prolly don't have enough time to fix what is already in game right, that's prolly why you already release ineeded swedish air tree, with this, you would have even more time to not fix any of our vehicules right? GG.

Don't forget the ACRA with the missing stabilizer. I submitted my bug report last week and haven't heard a word from anyone on the moderation team. I do look forward however to seeing this "Nordic" tree which in my opinion surpasses the Chinese by a long shot.

Oh boy here we go again, man I would love to see a German mach 2 capable jet, well, the only one's are either the F-104G, F-4F or a Mig-21 variant.

And with the BMP-1 now added to Germany, I also really hope, that we'll see more NVA ground-forces being added in the near future (T-72M1 wink wink?)

 

Italy, France and Japan really need a mach 2 capable aircraft aswell, I am guessing maybe the Mitsubishi F.1, F-104S and a Mirage? (I really have no idea which Mirage version).

 

Otherwise, I am really excited for rank V ships, since we are supposed to get things that are bigger than a heavy cruiser, which means my money, at least for Germany, lies on the Deutschland class battle-cruiser / pocket-battleship.

Basically 1.93 was allies update, so I would expect 1.95 to give a big good push to axis nations that need it, of course if they got some brain left they will give Japan Type 10 since it got no top tier mbt for a year or so, I mean Japan only 10.0 tank is type 90.
